Chainmail (if in a full suit) will be better as all the metal is closed, where in a plate suit there will be gaps between the plates. :) But thanks. Just wanted to know if the lightning was special. Like being a 100% plasma lightning or something like that. :P

Go all physics if you want, but in my book it's a bolt of flashy lightningy stuff that deals damage.

Will eventually become that once the magic plugin is implemented. But trying to understand is important.
