  2. There's many ways to do this. All in one, you have to show great honor and always give thanks to the spirits. Most Orcs aren't shamans because they sometimes don't take pride in their ancestors and spiritual parents. It's like the difference between a catholic. One who goes to church and always take Jesus' words to heart, compared to a catholic who doesn't go to church, and is far from his christ-like self (which there's nothing wrong with). If you catch my drift?

His character may be dead but his ideology is still alive, I don't think the orc conflict will end, seeing as they want to replace the Rex anyways.

  3. The desert is cool, the night seeping in. The moonlight glancing across the surface of the water. A dark figure slowly makes his way across the sand, his feet dragging clumsily as he approaches a large tree. The starlight is bright at this time of night, and it outlines the tree's figure. The dark figure is Zogrocka, the Orc has been astray from his camp for a while, his children, mate, and clan members all wondering his whereabouts. The dark shaman hears scuffling feet behind him, he turns an eye as he sees a goblin. A thin goblin is seen, a metal jaw easily shining as the stars do in this night sky. "Brunhyldir..." Says the dark shaman as he turns his body towards the small goblin "You are far from your homeland, why wander out here?" "To confront you, Zogrocka," says the eager goblin. His golden eyes shining bright as he straightens up, his figure small, yet his spirit big. Zogrocka laughs at the goblin. Perhaps it was foolish to fight such an opponent far out in the desert, or perhaps the spirits were with the smaller one. The ancient shaman, Brunhyldir, shuts his eyes, taking a sturdy pose as he begins to murmur something to himself, Zogrocka sees just his lips move, the shaman evidently still. The dark shaman stands straight, yet loose. His eyes remain open as he chants slowly in the ancient blah. The sand around the two Orcs begins to shift, rumbling occurring under them. Both stay calm and steady, as if nothing is happening. All of the sudden, two pillars, sharp at the tip, spurt out of the ground and colliding with each other. The two shamans watch each other eagerly. Zogrocka holds out both of his hands, curling them into fists. He thrusts his arms backwards wildly, the pillar breaking loose from the gound. Brunhyldir walks to the side, sand stirring about, the sand shifting as a flurry of small grains of rock pelt the dark shaman. The large pillar falls with a loud 'THUMP' as it comes into contact with the sand below it. Zogrocka falls flat on his back, his eyes closed shut. The high shaman approaches the pillar, hovering an open palm above it. The large pillar slowly elevates, making its way before the small goblin. Zogrocka gets up furiously, his eyesight now available. He holds his hand out towards the pillar. Though at the same time it comes towards the dark shaman. Resistance is felt between the two challengers, though the pillar begins spinning in place like a hand on a clock. It begins to pick up speed, the two spirits viciously clawing for power over the pillar. Though, the pillar slowly nears Zogrocka. The high shaman closes in on Zogrocka, forcing the pillar closer and closer... The pillar comes towards the dark shaman faster and faster every moment. It finally backs the dark shaman against the large tree, no where to go. The dark shaman looks to the sky for a moment, no emotion is seen in his eyes, the only thing that is seen is the reflection of the night sky. The soulless Orc turns back to the High Shaman, the pillar slowing as it steadies on its target. Nothing is seen, nor heard, the pillar flying like a dart through the silent night breeze. The dark shaman hunches slightly, the tip of the pillar piercing his chest as he pushes him back against the tree. A weak grunt is heard as the purple Orc looks down to his chest, he turns back to the Goblin, giving a scowl as he slumps over. The limp corpse of a dark shaman hangs before the High Shaman. Applaud isn't heard, nothing from the spirits, no war drums... Peace... Peace now falls over the Uzgs, all its inhabits not knowing, but the High Shaman does.
  4. Congratz Booger and VonAulus! :) And gratz to all the new ET!

  5. The spirit realm remains quiet. Comotion has settled for a week, the Orcish clans still loyal to the Rex and Krug waiting patiently in silence, waiting for the Azogs to cross paths with them. Eyes turns to the jungle, the Orcs know somewhere deep within their hunting grounds the Azogs lay, plotting sinister attacks on both the Orcs and the spirit realm. _-=-_-=-_-=-_-=-_-=-_ Zogrocka and Snoop’Azog sit silently within the war tent at the busy Azog camp. The two sit in deep contemplation. Anyone in the camp would hear Orcs of the like all working hard, iron getting to put to work, food being harvested. The dark shaman opens his mouth, “Mi gruk idt tik tew klomp da Uzgz, da zpyridtz em eergur, agh da Klanz em zkayred ob uz. (I believe it is time to fight the Uzgs, the spirits are eager, and the clans are scared of our warriors).” Snoop nods in return, “Dah eqquiptmunt ah ulmuzt redi vhur whur, der wepunz ahm vhinizhed, prugruzz em cumpleyt. (The equipment is almost ready for war, the weapons are finished, and progress if complete).” The two Orcs emerge from the tent, a busy line of trainers and warriors practicing battle movements, strategists at a nearby tent carefully mapping out battle tactics. The two Orcs slowly begin to make their way around a winding flank of stairs, making their way into the bowels of the camp. Large rooms open up, goblins furiously melting down ore and into ingots. Another room reveals large Ologs making crude blades and heavy armor for the Orcs. After the wargoth finishes the detour of the army, he makes his way back up the steps, where he walks to his own tent, propping himself on top as he shouts out towards the Orcs, announcing battle is soon. The gathered army roars out, a loud drum beat echoing throughout the lively jungle, though many know of the ruthless Orcs which live within. _-=-_-=-_-=-_-=-_-=-_ Date/Time First skirmish is to take place on 07/09/2014 (September 7th, 2014). [1:00pm EST, sharp. We plan for three or more skirmishes to take place until the time of 5:00pm] [if time is our friend, we may have skirmishes and a possible siege within the same day, if this is allowed, or if the defenders agree to it.] Manpower Azog/Dom vs. The War Uzgs Location and Boundaries All land owned by the Orcs. Rewards If attacker wins: Gains control of San’Vitar and its lands. Gets to appoint new Rex, and new Rex clan. If defender wins: Drives attackers off. Can counter-attack Azog’s fort. Rules https://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/115675-updated-war-rules/ Attackers have to win one skirmish out of three to pass onto a siege. No allies, this is only between the Orcish clans. No enchants, no golden apples, no MC buffs whatsoever. No hacks ;)

  11. Krug looks down upon his realm, his descendants. Though the mighty Krug has a daring look in his eye, anger is about the spirit. His realm, ever so great, is now tempted by the darkness of a solemn outcast, Zogrocka. The dark shaman tempts the Azog clan with dark power, the Azogs seize the opportunity, allowing the dark shaman to be a stable ally with the clan. Darkness pursues the clan, Zogrocka requesting their clan to bring him three Orcs from the near by capital, San'Vitar, meaning city of the old. The clan hunters bring back an Orc and two Ologs. The dark shaman smiles at the loyalty. He binds the Orcs to the altar, the clan members of both Dom and Azog gathering before his feet. The sky above the Orc lands grow dangerously cloudy, any soul would know a storm is coming, though Zogrocka knows differently. The dark shaman looks up into the stormy sky, a wide grin coming across his face as the sky is pierced with lightning bolts, thunder booming across the mortal lands below. Krug grows angry, the spirit's wrath being bestowed upon the realm below him. Zogrocka stares at the sky with a devilish look running across his face, Krug challenging the dark shaman to turn against his creators will. The dark shaman pauses, questioning himself for no less than a moment before shouting out to the clan members. Perhaps the Orc made a foolish decision to turn his back on Krug, or maybe he attempted to provoke the spirit. Krug screams out from the spirit realm in anger, lighting bolts striking the trees and walls around the Azog fort, the mighty spirit Krug, declaring war on the dark shaman, his anger being heard by all shamans within the realm, a message being sent to them of the Azog's betrayal to the spirits. The dark shaman begins his chant, many Orcs stomping their feet on the ground, drummers slowly playing a deep beat. Many Orcs go along with the chant, the dark shaman turning to the three sacrifices, without a question slaughtering them all, declaring open war against the Uzgs and the spirit realm. Though in the deepest places of the spirit realm, Ixli cheers in success, his child pleasing him greatly.

  13. Zogrocka murmurs at Knox's tea-party table, looking around the empty cavern. His eyes blank, his expression absent. The most hell-bent, evil spirit that roamed his ancestor's is now freed. The dark shaman gives a simple, smug look. Ikuras will now drive the spirits into slavery, peace will be absent to them he hopes. Kraal sits in a gloomy cave, the Lich standing in a solemn spot for two years, looking at the water stream below his feet. The Lich feels a presence. He looks up, his neck cracking a she does so. "Ikuras is freed," says a whisper, he turns, his eyes glowing bright in the cave. He slowly chuckles, his demonic laugh echoing through the dark hallways of his cave.
  14. The Second Generation Of Dark Shamanism The First Generation Dark Shamans, like any other Shaman, date back to when Shamanism was first created. The Deamon Aopohet created the spirit realm, creating the two spirits of time and space. The realm grew and the elemental spirits and immortal spirits were created. Krug, the first shaman had a daughter, Dom. After Krug’s death Dom was deemed the greatest shaman. Back in Aegis, a pack of shamans created the clan Dom. A member of the clan, Or’Ta, found out he can trick spirits into giving off their name, or he can make unfair and very clever pacts with them that’ll force them under his will. With their name or pact, he can forcefully summon them and use their power. The Doms were quick to utilize Or’Ta’s method. Every Shaman of the clan was forcing spirits against their will. The news spread widely across the spirit realms, the Dom clan was hated by the spirits. The spirits told other shamans of the Doms’ actions. The news then spread across the clans quickly. The Lur clan spat on the Doms’ name, they openly hunted the Dark Shamans down to the last Orc, nearly killing every Dom in an attempted genocide. The Second Generation What the Lurs forgot was to destroy the Dom’s books, tomes, and knowledge passed down. Dark Shamanism was at the peak of extinction, less and less Dark Shamans lived to fully learn the Dom’s methods of Dark Shamanism. Few Doms remained, though, a Dom which survived the late days of Aegis did remain. Grak’Dom, a Dom born while the Lurs hunted down his kin. His mother and father both in hiding, which died of natural causes in the future. What Grak’s father, Raz’Dom taught him was how to deceive lesser spirits, and how to trick them into giving over their name. Raz told his son more about the Doms, and where their study grounds were. Before Raz died, Grak travelled to the Orcish desert to search for the Doms’ training grounds. He searched for a few weeks, food and water were scarce. He finally came across a small cave, it looked so as if he saw Shamanistic carvings on the walls, and steps that lead deeper into the cave. He delved into the cave, where he found an underground oasis. The Oasis had a hole in the ceiling, which shone a bright light across the small oasis. To the back of the cave he could see a bookshelf, tons of old books scattered on the ground. The pages weren’t preserved well, he only could salvage a few books. The Orc made out of the cave with a bag of books which had various scriptures on dark Shamanism, written by the three Or brothers, Or’ta, Or’Drak, and Or’Jum. Grak didn’t bother to read the books, or to even skim through them. He left the cave far behind as he went home to his mother and father. Years upon years did Grak practice the dark shamanism, various trials did he do to perfect the Dom’s created art. After mastering the lost art in Anthos, he decided to take in three pupils, which he trained to antagonize the Lurs and those clans that were against the Doms. His pupils served well, and they had a slow start in the art as he did. After Grak’Dom’s inevitable death, his knowledge was lost, his pupils not finishing their trials. Dark Shamanism was at a loss. Only the dark Shamans which terrorize the Orcish nation remain. Forms Of Dark Shamanism Tricking/Deceiving The biggest part of Dark Shamanism is tricking and forcing spirits against their will. Tricking the spirit into what exactly? Dark Shamans usually say a riddle, or a twist sentence to attempt into tricking the spirit into giving off its true name. Once the Dark Shaman has the spirit’s name, he can call on the spirit whenever, forcing it to do what the Dark Shaman wants it to do. Forcing or tricking a spirit gets complicated depending on the spirit. If it is a lesser spirit they are much easier to trick compared to a greater spirit. Spirits that are often under the forceful influence of the Dark Shaman will tell other spirits, which could relay back to another Shaman. There are different ways of tricking spirits. For Elementalists, usually the Dark Shaman will make riddle or a joke to confuse the spirit into willingly giving off its name. For lautamans, witch doctors, and farseers, the dark shaman usually makes a clever pact with them, they may twist the words, which can mean one thing or another, an example of this would be, “I will give you power in exchange for you bestowing your power upon me at my own will.” If the spirit agrees, the Dark Shaman now has the spirits power and can use it at his own will (there are millions of other pacts that could confuse a spirit, though it’s up to the dark shaman to figure them out). Flesh Smithing Another aspect of Dark Shamanism is flesh smithing. Flesh smithing is the Dark Shaman art of mutating bodies and/or modifying bodies. The Doms realized that the average body is actually a conglomerate of the elements. Flesh smithers began capturing Orcs and running Shamanistic experiments on the captives. The process undertook a lot of time and energy, requiring a vast amount of trial and error. The art requires silence, so this can’t be done on the battlefield or the middle of a fight, it must be done in a contained, silent area. The flesh smiths finally perfected what they wanted, all their patients in the end had a bigger body mass, extra limbs, bone claws, etc. The knowledge of flesh smithing was lost along with Grak’s death. Though the spirit Ixil has the knowledge of it, which he could grant to someone for a cost of sanity. Identifying Dark Shamans Physical In the early stages when the Dark Shaman has just started tricking and forcing spirits, nothing physical would be shown. Later on, the more the Dark Shaman practices his art, he will start to develop purple nails, his/her irises and whites will begin to turn pure black, and their gums will turn black. Spiritual In the early stages of Dark Shamanism not many spirits would know about the Dark Shaman. Though the more the Dark Shaman practices his art, more spirits will know and most likely inform other shamans about the Dark Shaman. Highlighted Points! - Flesh smithing is quite hard to self-teach, one would need to consult with the spirit Ixli to gain the knowledge of flesh smithing. Though a flesh smith has the ability to teach another. - Dark Shamans do not learn a Shamanistic subtype any faster than a normal Shaman, they just don’t make pacts with spirits, and instead they trick/force them. - Dark Shamans do not summon spirits any faster than a normal Shaman with equal skill as them. - A Flesh Smith can’t mutate/modify his own body himself. - Fleshsmithing must be RP’d with trial and error. If you have any questions whatsoever on this lore please post on this topic so I can add it to a Q&A I'll have on this topic. Thank you for reading. Question And Answer
