Howdy folks, Just a quick opinion-gathering session here. Whilst this isn't extremely high on my priorities currently, I want to know what you guys think of the current website. We wont be doing any large changes (such as design) any time soon, but this is so we know for when we do ever decide to do any. If the two original players decided on RP - it remains RP. It doesn't change because the new player comes along - by joining he's agreeing to what they're doing.

In all honesty, I didn't actually realise Mau5 had made such a post, and I would have to doubt the accuracy of the results. How he worked that out I don't know, however, it is extremely unlikely that they're accurate simply due to the fact we can't truly see who actually voted for what. My guess is that he looked at accounts and IP matched them - but through that, we still aren't getting an accurate count anyway, down to proxying, etc. Frankly, I wouldn't describe this as a 'victory' for each side of the debate - if it goes wrong, then it goes back to RP, if it works, then we can all be happy. What we honestly need people to do is just give things time and see if they do work out - but some people appear unwilling to do that, which is a real shame.

Yup, you're attitude is quite frankly crap. Many of the people who wanted default-PVP are some of our best roleplayers and most experienced one. The fact you're generalising all the people who are "Pvp'ers" in such a way is ridiculous. Shut up, and see how it goes - like I've said, it goes bad? We'll sort it.

In cases like this, I'd expect you'd all have the decency to agree to roleplay fight in it. Most of you will, so, I don't think we need to worry about it.

If the people all agree to, then you 100% can.

Great attitude you have - we were an RP server back when we used to have default-PVP, which was actually our highest point - and we remain one now. PVP isn't as 'non-RP' as some people like to think. Why can't you just actually give it a chance and see how it goes, rather than instantly complaining?

We're intending on reintroducing Knockout, or at least something close to it - trying to get Telanir right now.

Only people who actually use magic itself in combat are - e.g. people who will use the magic plugin when it comes / is fully introduced.

Exactly what would've happened either way. At least now we can try the system, and if it doesn't work, take the simply step back.
