      you cannot, though I've made a suggestion for that to be implemented here :

      If you attempt to select a bonus profession, it will say something along the lines of "You must attune your persona much further."

      This gives you a general hint about how far you have to go. It ranges from 'much much further,' to 'a tiny bit further.'
