Hrm. I think that's actually a big problem, at least for graphical artists and lore writers, who intend to share their work with other settings.

Naah. For example, all of my art isn't uploaded through LotC so therefore doesn't fall under that rule. If however I produced an artwork for, lets say, the media team, they have shared rights to use that.
