Axios already has enough native races. I do love the idea of rat people, but I feel like it would be better executed as an event line rather than a playable race. It would potentially fit a lot better on the next map. Sprawling underground ruins inhabited by ratfolk would be pretty neat but not appropriate for the lore of Axios.

It's all really sweet lore that would certainly add to the server and Norland as a roleplaying community. This is the type of "holy" magic that should be written for the server. The only questions I have are to do with this: Do you have to be a priest/caster to become the Overwhelmed? Does being a Fatherist mean just following the religion? Or is it exclusive to those with the ability to commune with the All Father? Is there anything stopping someone from abusing it through creation of a new Fatherist character just to undergo the ritual and become a fire-spewing weapon of spook-destruction?

Very nice lore, obviously a lot of effort has been put into it. A great read and would create fun roleplay while still being balanced, a rarity for most submissions. What more could you ask for from a piece of lore? +1

Well starting off with the spawn: It's completely disorganised and confusing. Unless you know exactly where you are going then it is INCREDIBLY easy to get lost just in the first hundred blocks or so from the spawn. I wandered around for a minute or two before starting my persona. My character is a dark elf so I got teleported to the Dark Elf city which was completely abandoned with the gate shut. I was very confused as I didn't want to be at the dark elf city but I guess you just teleport new players to their races' capital. Perhaps giving the player a choice of where they want to be teleported is a better idea because I just found myself lost again.
I tried following the signs and ended up at the Wood Elf city. Once again the gate was closed and the man at the gate was AFK so I couldn't get it after waiting a couple minutes and even using /shout. I left and found a sign that directed me to spawn. However, after following it for a long while the road I was on just simply ended. I was confused and went back and the sign was directly me the right way yet the road just ended. I asked the chat and said I was lost but people just told me to use my Soulstone.
I used the soulstone and got put straight back at the damn Dark Elf city which was exactly where I didn't want to be. I asked in chat again how to return to spawn and got no reply so I just ventured out on the road again. This time I took a different path and found a different signpost directing me to spawn. I followed it all the way and found some ruins that looked to be like the old dock where the fast travel ships USED to be, yet nobody had bothered to change the signs. I asked about this in the help chat and thankfully someone teleported to me and showed me the real way to spawn. This way was not signposted WHATSOEVER.

I actually agree with everything IceWater has said and I've tried bringing up such points before. This map is simply not new player friendly and spawn is the worst offender. New players get dumped into an area much bigger than it needs to be, with confusing directions, and literally no one around. Makes the server look dead and/or frustrating. Then there are roads that lead to nowhere. Signs that are out of date. Its honestly a mess.
