    I feel like the community thinks you aren't a good enough villain if you don't want to put the time into making a VA. I'm happy they're gone, and only because they were an obstacle to fun RP, not any other reason...

      Oh, they served a purpose. Trust me, early Aegis was horrid.

      There were people who keybinded "HALT OR DIE" and just popped out of nowhere to kill you.

      I, on the other hand keybinded phrases for begging.

      But wardog, the point is you don't need to take a test to show you're a good RPer. Some people don't want to be bothered, or don't have the time. I never got to writing a lock picking VA, and I think my RP was alright. If you personally want to write an hour-long essay that's fine, but not everyone needs it...

      The influx of raids and minimal RP before kills is very very apparent currently, Richard. I understand that there are good roleplayers that do not possess VAs, however lockpicking halflings are not enough to have me reconsider whether Villain Applications were actually practical, or not.
