Ah yes our bishops, priests, cardinals, high pontiff, mass, holy books, rituals and sermons totally aren’t based on catholicism. 

The Church’s structure is unambiguously Catholic. But the theology is not Christian at all. We don’t have a Christ figure or a Trinity; we have a “chosen people” and a series of flawed prophets like Judaism.

why do we have to argue about its inspirations when it's been said by mogroka numerous times over the years that it is Judeo-Christian in origin

besides, it's an IRP religion, nobody cares - when it comes to undeath and poor roleplay by those who use it for such purposes, always blame the user and not the lore. the lore wasn't designed to be used in that fashion.

also I mostly agree with @Sorcerio on this one, all other "religions" are objectively powergrab cults in most cases and were designed to be objectively kiltered toward the wielding of strengths provided by whatever deity you are 'serving' and not the actual serving of that deity in and of itself.
