  13. TAVERNKEEP NEEDED Tavernkeep needed at the City of Peremont - active, engaged and competent. The tavern is nestled in the middle of the burgeoning city, often visited by the men of the Brotherhood of the Golden Crozier that inhabit the region and the other inhabitants. Surrounded by verdant wildlife and rolling plains, the city attracts more and more business with every passing day. For any prospective buyers, the tavern is priced at 600 minas, and any who desire to purchase it should speak to Denis de Bar (stigwig). To those who are simply interested in working as a tavernkeep; a wage can be arranged with the Count.
  14. THE CITY OF PEREMONT The Count Adrian de Bar (NiceGuyNorman), son of the late Duke Richard, and his son, Denis de Bar (stigwig) , have begun the construction of a city nestled around the keep of Geldern at the heart of the County of Drusco, a haven away from the degeneracy and squalor of the other cities which are dotted around the Empire. A city for all who find themselves in need of a peaceful place to stay and a prosperous city to engage with; whether they be commoner, burgher, knight or noble. Garrisoned and defended by the bannermen of the County and the House de Bar, the Brotherhood of the Golden Crozier, the city is safe from any threats. Virtuous and brave in their actions citizens can sleep safely knowing that such warriors wander the streets - and those whom desire to quench their enthusiasm for a martial path in life may enlist with the group so they can gain much needed experience in the art of warfare. Small houses dot the idyllic landscape and offer a refuge for any that can afford the low prices; tavern rooms are available for those who are simply travelling through the region whilst any aspiring merchant may find some tenure in owning stalls from which to barter and trade their goods to the common folk who pass by and the soldiers who come down from the keep above. The city finds itself nestled by the sides of an immense vineyard, utilising the same processes of winemaking and viticulture developed in the old city of Leuvaarden that enabled the city to grow such an industry. Due to the Count’s sponsorship of the thriving and typically Savoyard industry the fine vintage that became a norm for areas under the influence of the house in Athera has continued well in the new Druscan lands. As busy and bustling an area as has ever existed, each day in the fledgling and nascent city’s streets sees scores of people pass by blacksmiths, fletchers, tailors, breeders, bowyers and all the other artisans that inhabit the city. The tavern’s doors are always open and the vintages of Drusco never stop flowing, the city always guarded by the vigilance of the local armigers who also inhabit the area. Perhaps one of the greatest appeals to the area is the scenery that adorns the verdant landscape: rolling fields which stretch leagues away, meadows left to fallow, wayshrines which dot the small paths across the rolling hills and thick hedges indicative of the rural areas surrounding the urban city. In order to reach Peremont any prospective citizens should take the cart from Felsen to the area and simply turn to their right, eastwards, where they will discover the area. ((x222, z-1983)). THE CITY COUNCIL The City Council is tasked with the administration of the city and aid the Count with any matters that he has to address; any man, whether his blood be from the lowliest of common lines or pure noble ones, is able to serve in the cadre of advisors -- lending arm and ear to the Count’s service as they fulfill their respective roles. CASTELLAN Guy Leopold de Bar, TheIrishBoys The Castellan of the City is responsible for the general governance, serving as second only to the Count and being his primary aide - if the Count happens to be abroad he exercises the authority to govern the holding in his stead, and maintains the power to exercise authority over all other offices. BAILIFF Rhys Roke, dementeddude1916 The Bailiff is responsible for passing out the Count’s justice within his lands, a man of steel values and an unshakable loyalty. Working with the Castellan to exercise judicial power, the Count has empowered him to enforce the laws and punishments within the area. STEWARD Thomas de Aryn, Tahmas The Steward of Peremont serves as both an advisor to the Count in economic matters and the go-to for any citizens aiming to purchase houses, stalls or businesses within the city. They are employed to ensure the city’s prosperity, while also managing any future expansions that may occur. COURT CHAPLAIN Archbishop Peredono of Valenza, Clegg_ The Court Chaplain is the chief minister in the city of spiritual affairs - organising mass, distributing alms to the poor, guiding the Count and maintaining a close connection with Luciensport. He often works with the Brotherhood of the Golden Crozier, stationed in the town, to ensure they are well versed in the Lord’s word.
