  1. So, I have multiple questions:

    1) How do you get to the natural Wilderness in the server?

    2) How do you apply to begin a settlement and what’s the whole process, etc etc?

    3) How are you all doing today?

      1. Its on the far left side of the map
      2. You have to buy a special shovel in Cloud Temple that will allow you to set charter, but in wilderness none is needed I believe.
      3. Not too bad.

From my personal side though I will tell you not to build a new settlement. It’s not worth it, especially in wilderness. Join already existing nations, groups, etc.

As to not be just negative, and prove why:

      - Spreading RP further will lower highly the value and feeling of each encounter, as they will become repetitive with certain people

      - Unless you have a group of around 10 or more active, helpful, and most importantly SELF-DEPENDENT ON ROLEPLAY people, it won’t work. Those people will either leave your group, or worse, leave the server as they will get bored, unless you provide each day some high level roleplay.

      - Creating new thing for sheer thrill of being the leader is great, but you can achieve the same by creating a clan, family name, or more within already existing places! Create a big legacy, and maybe one day when circumstances give, you will have a chance to take over, or more!

That’s pretty much all I had to say. You can still use the advice I gave you in point 1 and 2 if you want to make the charter regardless of all.

Which way is the left side of the map? West?

  2. Hello. I am selling 1,216 (18 x 64) units of stone bricks for any kingdom that requires it at 1 mina per 2 units for a total of 608 minas for the entire batch. I also work in making staffs and the like, and can make them from any material you choose, varying payment for each material. I look forward to hearing from anyone.
  3. I used to have a character who used this magic and I never got to T3 since it was shelved and I left for a long time. I would really like to see the return of it since I really enjoyed it. I never got meta with it and people enjoyed what I did, at least I think. Good job Toodles, I’m hoping you get through lore games
  4. My whitelist got removed for some reason? Probably inactivity...

Possibly due to your account being an alt account. A new system to whitelist alts has been put in place, is your unwhitelisted account an alt and can you still use your main?

Most people in this realm have parents, or at least knew them. Aeven never had any such memory. He simply remembers existing as a child, with nobody to look after him except for the Arcas Cloud Temple monks. Abandoned by those who were supposed to love him most. Of course, he grew reclusive as his life went on, becoming somewhat of an outcast by his early 30s. He never shunned or disregarded his fellow Mali’ame, but he was simply untrusting of anyone. He learned reading and writing by observing others, but never took up any fighting, save for the staff, which he is quite proficient with. Moving on from the place he called home most, he decended into the realm of Arcas in order to learn of man, dwarves, and his fellow elves, making sure that he could never be crossed, still wearing his robes in order to conceal himself, afraid that someone might know him from the past and ask questions.
  6. I am finally back, fellow boys and girls! I am ready to enjoy myself and have some fun with you all once again. It’s good to be back. Of course, all my characters will cease to exist since I had been gone for so long. I have a lot of lore to catch up on. See you then

      Welcome back friend

  7. I finally got a new account! Question though. Do I have to get it re-whitelisted by making a character, or, because I was already whitelisted, I tell the admins?

This is important to me. Love you guys, see you all in a bit!

If this is an alt account you wish you apply for the server, you don't need to create an entirely new whitelist for it. Instead, you must use the alternative account application format which is basically just OOC details to let us know what alt account you want whitelisted, and so forth. Once done, you post it in the same area as all whitelists but make it clear in the title that this is for an alt account, and also log into the server as your alt account so that a member of the AT is capable of whitelisting you if the application is accepted.

Here's a link to the application format: https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/topic/162672-alternate-account-application-format/

If you have any questions, don't heistate to ask. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!

  10. *another note is posted* "We are recruiting and asking for jobs. If anyone needs anything done, Scarlet Raven will handle it. -Guild Master, Norgaladir Nolatari
  11. Scarlet Raven: Scarlet Raven will become an economic and public service powerhouse, providing services such as pelt/animal part collecting, hunting for game or sport, as well as protecting the good people of Athera from the foulest of beasts the lands have ever seen. The reach of the guild will be almost unlimited, and it will have outposts strewn across Athera, and who knows where else. The new members will follow the journey of this guild from it's humble beginnings, right up until the climax of it's tale, rising through the ranks as the guild grows in size, strength, and renown. Unlike some stories being told in the world, the newer members may not be the star of the show in this guild. Join us as we adventure throughout Athera, helping those in need while also helping in the global goal of finally defeating Iblees. Ranks: As you become a part of this guild, you will gain knowledge and rank: Guild Master Guild Master is the main leadership position of the guild. The Guild Master stewards the core values of Scarlet Raven promoting creativity, curiosity, collaboration, and courage. It is a political, social, and emotional position. It will be passed down to whoever the master deems worthy of the title. Some of the more basic tasks of the job include make sure everyone is kept informed and taking a hand in coordinating the ranks as needed. The guild master will also be the one who calls meetings and gatherings. If the guild master is unavailable for any of the above, the General Council is available for assistance. The Guild Master recruits, organizes, and generally manages guild activities and relations. Grand Council Guild Master responsibilities can't be done alone, and the title (sadly) can't be shared. The Grand Council represents the member of the guild who is the second in command. The Grand Council, in direct consultation with GM, works to provide leadership and promote community development. Advisor The Advisor members are very active guild members who work towards guild recruitment and planning guild activities. These are dedicated players who have volunteered their assistance with managing guild activities and relations. As such, diplomacy skills must be adequate enough to foster the needs of a healthy community. A Advisor member is a person to go for our guild members to discuss matters that concern them, allowing for private discussions that can be brought to the attention of the Guildmaster and Grand Council if needed. The Advisor members work to resolve issues in a positive, collaborative, and effective manner. The Advisor also can set up instance runs for guild members, plan groups, and organize raids. The Advisor may also assist members in acquiring weapons and armor so they are properly equipped. If a member/members needs a specific Instance done in the future, they should get in touch with an Advisor member. Planning ahead is the best, and even the officers need to have fun and enjoy the game. Sentinels Affiliate members who have dedicated themselves to the betterment of the guild and shown a willingness to participate constructively will be promoted to Sentinel. Affiliate The Affiliates form the base of our members. Becoming an Affiliate relies heavily on guild interaction and participation, and requires a two-week waiting process as an Initiate before moving up to this status. Initiate The lowest rank, but still one of the most important, the Initiates are put through a two week “Trial Membership” process. In this time, their overall participation with other members will be monitored to ensure that they have no malicious intent, and that they get along with everyone. Initiates have no obligation to stay with us, and can leave at any time they wish. Probation After a month of inactivity, members will be moved to the Probation listing. From there, they will be upgraded back to the Initiate rank, and will have to go through the promotion process all over again. To avoid this, please leave a member of leadership a heads up, if possible, if you know that you may be gone for an extended period of time. Emergencies will be excused. In addition, problem members will be moved to this rank, and will be taken off at the discretion of the officers. Above all, DO NOT ASK TO BE PROMOTED. If you do, you will be downgraded to the next lowest possible rank. Guild Rules: What is a guild without it’s rules. You are expected to treat your fellow guild mates with respect at all times, remembering that we are working towards a common goal. Abuse will not be tolerated. If there is an issue that you feel needs resolving contact an Advisor or anyone of higher rank. What you may see as great advice others may be resentful towards and the correct conduit with which to approach these matters is via an Advisor or higher up. The guild will have “teams” of sorts: 3-4 people per team, they will eat, sleep, and live together, and any jobs they partake in, the reward shall be split evenly amongst the team members. If the loot cannot be divided evenly, the guild master will take the odd amount of loot and place it into the guild’s fund for building, helping out, etc. Our members are representatives of the guild to the outside world and we expect people to act in such a way that the guild will be looked on in a good light. We will not tolerate arrogant or abusive behaviour, dissing of other guilds or their members, troublemaking, or any other activity that would bring the guild into a bad light. Act maturely and responsibly always. The "trial" period for Initiate last for on average, 2 weeks. This is by no means a deadline and we reserve the right to keep members on trial for as long as we deem necessary to be sure you are suitable for Initiate. During this time you will have essentially the same rights as any member, except that your performance is being even more closely monitored. If one wishes to leave the guild, they must: Tell the guild master Be sure that they wish to leave (because very rarely does the master let anyone back) Last and most importantly, must partake in the farewell ceremony The Farewell Ceremony: As a custom for some(if not all) members, anyone leaving Scarlet Raven is given a "ceremony" of sorts. When members of any team have friends that leave to lead their lives elsewhere, the member closest to the leaving friend recites the three truths of Scarlet Raven: They shall not reveal any sensitive information about the guild to enemies or anyone outside the guild. PERIOD. Though we may never see each other again, we, the entire guild of Scarlet Raven, will be watching over you, wishing you the best of luck in your life, hoping you will be living it as if each day were your last. Fight with all your heart and remember your family- Scarlet Raven. _____________________________________________________________________________ May you join us and make us a stronger family. -Guild Master, Norgaladir Nolatari ((P.S.- MSG or PM Norgaladir for more info on how to join)) ((Dont pay attention to the last topic posted by myself, i just need a FM to delete it))
  12. ((It has been edited and finished))
