  11. I'll try my hand at this. From my understanding [which may be horribly wrong], a whitewash orc is one that either is half orc half X, or a pure blood that betrays Krug in essence. It isn't quite a subrace, more as it is a lifestyle choice. Also, you may see others trying to scare you out of the option, simply because the orcs would love more players, and being a whitewash would take away from it. It's really all your choice, and I've seen plenty of players successfully play white-washes. If you have any more questions, a good source of info on white-washes I find would be from Kizumachan, also known as Ritoru on the forums. If she isn't about, then Stephensj Is also a pretty good source ^-^

  13. In a realm of infinate flatness in a deep yet sparse forest, only interrupted by trees that break the height of the sky {and large compressed wool signs of various types}; Did but a group of 5 souls stand in a circle... absolutely motionless and ever so slightly translucent in the half light of a perpetual eclipse. "Did you make sure to add the @EventHandler this time?" One figure dressed in light orange spoke, gaze never moving from the sky. Another seemed to growl at the comment, "Yes for the fifth time I'll never forget that again, understand?!" he snapped, lowering his gaze to the first while the others patiently waited. "Just look through the Api, I'm sure you'll learn this all eventually." the first chuckled, eyes losing their glazed quality and becoming more solid looking as he turned about towards a tree. "Let's see if you actually screwed this up for the third time..." he would mutter, snapping a branch as a bright red fruit materialized and fell to the ground, glowing a moment before exploding, sending acidic juice all over the figure's cloke. "Told you~" the second said in an upbeat tone, just as twigs surrounding the clearing began to rustle and crack. A sixth figure approached the clearing where the others stood, a dark orange cloke enveloping its body and seeming to throw particles of energy about as the surrounding foliage bent from its path, reforming soon afterwards. '"Telanir."' All members greeted at once, all attention diverting towards him and away from the explosive fruit. "Gentlemen~" he spoke in a calm voice, a stoic expression upon his face. "You all here have devoted your existence to sustaining this world of ours have you not?" he questioned, continuing so soon as the circle warily nodded, "Every 'update' this world has gone through you have helped us get past, fixing key components that never would have existed without our intervention and innovation." He paused a for a time, looking each and every member squarely in the eyes before continuing lowly, "When those of the other realm pray to the Creator... Wehther they know it or not, they pray to us..." He trailed off as every member of the circle nodded in acknowledgement, smiles appearing on the faces of many. "Great then, as it seems our brothers of the other plain are in need of help once more." he said, vision flickering a moment as he reached down, a gnarled iron staff now materializing within his grasp. "We have always been a substancial force in the background, no matter the level of our numbers... Now it is time to show the others what we are truly capable of; what the true power of our kind is. Those known as the "Gms" have been threatened by a mortal race... their numbers are weak, and they need all the help posiable to sustain their subtle reign over the soft minded inhabitance of the world they call Anthos." Taking a breath and walking closer, he finished the speech. "Fight with me brothers... not everything can be fixed through the Eclipse... war being a prime example." There was a small bit of hesitation and silent glances, before as a singular entity, they turned towards him, the synchronized sound of cloaks being cast to one side resounding through the night air. At each of their sides lay artfully crafted blades resting in black leather sheaths, each and every tailor-fit to the grip of it's owner. "Telanir," the closest cloaked figure spoke, "As always, we are at your will. Simply request when and where we are to be, and it shall be done." With that every figure drew their sword and raised it towards the sky, bright orange sparks blinking in and out of vision about them in the light of the eclipse. "I'm sure you won't disappoint gentlemen... Now back to work, the players seem to want a replacement for the last node we removed." With that each member of the circle bowed and turned back in idol chatter, new ideas flying about from one to the other, and Telanir walking back into the forest and slowly fading into a dark orange mist. As the creators of this world, THE TECH TEAM would not let their fellow guardians fall to creatures as weak as the dwarves, and the repulsive thought alone of loosing control of the village to an inferior race would fuel their drive to win.

  17. It was dark. The hills rolled about him and the night air seemingly stand silent about. Where was he... hovering apparently, not uncommon in a situation such as this he thought. Hovering about a time longer, he spotted a figure, standing alone in the center of a small valley, birds of some sort surrounding him. Arzota squinted his eyes, old mithril armor jumping out in his vision along with a glowing scepter of white and electric blue. 'What could this be...' he whispered to himself, willing closer as the figure raised its staff high in the air and began to chant in a ghostly monotone. As time went on, the figure's scepter seemed to gather more light from the air about it, a crackling audible in the air as the crystal upon it's head began to glow a ghostly white. All at once, a deafening crack was heard throughout the scene and beyond, a beam of light rocketing into the air and forming a full circle of raw power. Arzota stumbled back in the very air as the beam was held for a time longer, an electric buzzing growing in intensity and the ring of light seemed to shake violently until finally the circle collapsed upon itself, streaks of energy moving with the speed of lightning into the ground surrounding the figure, leaving it completely unharmed. ~~~ At one deafening thunderclap, Arzota awoke under a shaded tree, heart pounding and ears continuing to ring from the aftershock of the oh so realistic; dream. "Perhaps an omen..." he whispered to himself as he stood once more, returning to his quest.
  18. (( >.> <.< Well this shall be cute...)) Arzota stands stoic as word reaches him, an odd urge to help the inhabitants washing over him, "If the dwarfs wish to attack such a small and peaceful area; so be it... Fire and lightning shall rain from the sky and pillars of earth shall be wrought from the ground; may the Creator have mercy on these poor souls who are but foolish enough to venture on such an endeavor." With that he marches off, gathering all who would wish to aid the defending area.
