  1. Also, I'm fairly sure there is no such thing as a "Demon" on LOTC.
  2. Thimble wonders why Fumble is slapping himself.
  3. Thimble eyes the monkeys carefuly. "Yer the rabit man's monkeys?" His face lights up as he begins to make beautiful dresses for all the Shire to wear.
  4. This is the big issue with racial spawns, combat perks and xp perks. What if you are a Human, living in the Conclave who uses a bow? Or an ork who happens to prefer swords over axes? What if you are the best damned baker in all of 4.0 who also happens to be an ent? People will start setting thier races to fit their characters combat styles, and just put "Is actualy a human." in their character cards. Also, what if your character isn't one of the 6 main races? Many people have cards that say something like "Ent" "Shade" or something else that only a select few really have? This is my suggestion: You get a certain amount of xp to spend on whatever combat or domestic skills you want, right off the bat. This allows for more creative characters, and for non-decendants to be acomodated.
  5. Bok sends another letter via a mud-man courior. "WHERE NEST? BOK WANT NEST"
  6. ((MushyNinja)) BOK ONLY RASE ((PST)) HIDING FROM MUD MEN The answers to the application have been written on top of the questions, in some sort of mud.
  7. "Well ye should 'ave been guardin i' shouldn ye" says a drunk Halfling.
  8. Sorry! I forgot that existed for a minute... The thread's already made though, so I'll give it a couple of hours before marking as solved. Thanks.
  9. SOLVED Thanks Jade Kadoa So, recently I was in the vicinity of a blood shard when it exploded, and I am wondering qbout saying some of it was imbeded in my character. However I would need to know the effects of it. First, is it corrosive? Would it burn away flesh, metal or fabric? What if here was no direct contact but it was suspended in mid air, near fabric? What effects does it have on the soul, aura and mind? Would this blood shard even be an issue? Would it be akin to metal shrapnel? I'd prefer somebody who either has experience with the Scourage, or has delt with implanted blood shards before.
  10. Banned for killing half the server's parents.
  11. Skype Name: mushyninja Character Name: Marcus Bergstrom Starting Inventory: One 9mm Beretta (One spare clip) 6 Walkie Talkies, along with chargers. One Renaissance Plate Armour Breastplate One 19th Century Steel Katana, along with a sheath. Various food items, acquired from the cafeteria. Age: 38 Appearance: He is wearing clothes typical of private security, along with his breastplate and a leather satchel. He has shortish brown hair and would look like a stocky version of David Tennant. Starting Location In NYC (if you don't know where anything is in NYC please just google a map of landmarks etc. ) The cafeteria of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which has since had the windows sealed, and the doors barricaded. Former Occupation: Curator of the Arms and Armour section, in the Met. Short Backstory (Optional) Marcus was at work, going about his life when it happened. Most people fled the museum but he along with a few others remained behind. It did not take long for them to move most of the pieces into the basements, and they began to organize a safe-house. Many of the remaining survivors left the museum to search for supplies, very few came back. Now Marcus is holed up in the cafeteria, he has been trying to make contact with the outside world while keeping the museum intact. Anything Else: Nopedy nope nope.
  12. This is why we can't have nice things. THIS.
  13. ((THE WATER BEAST BLESSED US WITH HIS CLOUD OF GLORY. WE REJECT IT AND THIS HAPPENS!))
  14. Watcher scoffs at this, equating it to trading a potato for a house. ((100 minas MIGHT buy you... A diamond axe. These glyphs are incredibly powerful.))
  15. This should make battles alot less laggy. Great work!
  16. Magic is one of he largest aspects of many people's rp. Taking that away is akin to forcing them to pk.
  17. This could be a good idea, but we would NEED a mage registry.
  18. No no no. You will have access to 1 or 2 spells at the start I think. And those will use all of your mana and likely backfire at the start. Via practice you will actually be able to learn more and make your current ones work.

    Recap

You must still learn it ic, or it is considered metagaming. Also take a look at the lore section because A LOT of subtypes are totqly restricted.
  20. A slightly larger Halfling looks up from the pumpkin patch, grinning at the group while holding an axe above his head. "Oo me?"
  21. By "Background Calculations" would you say, see the speed of a river or maybe the trajectory of a bird? Would it be possible to sort of walk in this enlightened state? A little like the eagle vission thing in Assassin's Creed? So long as meta gaming was strictly avoided a la not using this in combat or predicting or influencing people's decisions.
  22. That was the issue. If the divide rejects void magic then it wouldn't really make sense tuse void magic to let somebody else see it.
  23. I like this alot, via some kind of conection would it be possible to make others view what you see?
  24. The Dark Shard and the Dark Fear spells need to be redone. I can't see much of a way that the Dark Shard would make sense, and the Dark Fear wouldn't work well in practice. The Dark Shard feels out of place really. I think the discern fear spell should show hr victim what they fear most, as well as telling thr user what it is they see. Also the "10 emote" part makes literaly zero sense. People work at different paces, people will sometimes draw an arrow, notch it and aim in one emote.
