  1. Mk we'll call it two. I don't wanna give anymore, because once again, you can win more next week.
  2. Ya. There'll be another warzone next week and you can win more trebuchets at that. Normally there'd be no benefits to winning a skirmish warzone so really you're getting the chance to win more siege equipment that usual.
  3. War Team Update Rothswood Warzone & War Chest concept art of big mineman pvp in 1.12 The Ruthern & Rebels vs Courland Warzone is now open andhasbeenforthelasttwodaysidontknowwhyimonlymakingthisnow If you're a rebel fighting alongside the forces of House Ruthern, head over to the human hub and find the warcart there beneath the twinned-grey flag of the Rutherns. Or, if you're a Courlander, you can find your warcart beneath a green and black banner outside the gates of Aleksandria, by the Soulstone pillar. This Warzone will stay open up until Saturday, once the skirmish has been fought. Three capture points are being set up across the Warzone and so on Friday night, a capture the point session will be held, which will grant the winner one FREE trebuchet for the FOLLOWING week's siege. Also, Teegah's done some great work and added a War Chest, which you can read about below. Capture The Points On Friday night, at 6PM EST/11PM GMT, a Capture the Points session will be held in the Warzone. The Ruthen Rebels and Courland must compete to hold three capture points, which are located in the forest, the snowbanks, and near the Tosali manor. Whoever holds a point for the longest will win that point, and whoever wins the points by midnight GMT will be declared the winner, and win a free trebuchet for the following week's siege! Also, just take a second to familiarize yourself with the Warzone rules: Courland must use Status Fighting in the Warzone, and Rebels must use Status Crusading. If you're fighting in the Warzone without a status I'll see to it you get s l a p p e d. You can't enter the enemy's camp. Grappling hooks are encourage to be used, but should not be used to hide on the trees or gain access to an opposing party's war camp. Please maintain a balance of role-play when using mechanics. Horses are strictly prohibited within the Warzone. As always, maintain other server rules while in the warzone. You may not enter the Warzone naked and without armor in an attempt to snipe loot. The War Chest Aaand now, the War Team would like to introduce a new feature of warzones -- the War Chest! yaaaaaay wooo Alright, so basically, this chest can be found at the top floor of the Tosali manor, in the middle of the Warzone. In this chest, you can find some PvP l0000t that will respawn every 30 - 90 minutes, so make sure to stick around the Warzone to try and grab it. Bear in mind though, if you're caught taking from this chest without a status or without having any gear, the loot will be taken off you. Big thanks to @Teegah for getting this cool feature set up. And as usual, thanks to everyone who helped build the Warzone. That's all -- go have fun and kill eachother. -The GM War Team @Rudi_ .
  4. Yeah your manor happens to be in the middle of the battlefield. Uh. Surprise?
  5. Oh, whoops. I'd like to start up a small human family, and a family sigil for them would just be a nice and appreciated touch.
  6. Wow, these are really good. Can I have number 3 plserino?
  7. Fool girl. What do you know about loss? Floris van Loden thinks to himself as he rests in a solitary Mardon Grove. He crumples the missive in his slender hand, before he set it carefully atop his modest campfire like a crown, and watched the spritely tongues of fire eagerly consume it. He stared distantly into the fire, the flames dancing off the reflection of his glazed eyes and thought about everything he'd lost. His brother. His two homes. His family. His love. Suddenly, the princess' missive became enraging.

  9. hip hoppity This Warclaim will take place as a SKIRMISH for the central fields of Haense and the Rothswood, and due to the central positioning on this field, the victor will be able to progress with a siege of any central location in Hanese (Northmarch, Vsevograd, Istria, Metterden, Vasililand, Oak Shade, Ayr, etc.). The Warclaim will take place at 2PMEST / 7PMGMT on SATURDAY, MAY 20TH. A Warzone will be up by Tuesday night.
  10. This is mainly a baiting prevention, so by edge, we'd be talking probably the edge of a town or a keep. Yeah, some good points here. We're not able to really check 100% how long they've been there unless they've been using chat, commands, breaking blocks or dropping items. This rule was already in the rulebook and I've never heard of any issues with it, so I figured why not keep it. We're gonna have a think about this one, though. By intentional attack, we mean going to a settlement specifically TO raid them. So if you get in some trouble while you're just hanging around town and fighting ensues, then that's NOT a raid. Fair point. We'll discuss this in the War Team and see if it's worth adding. Yeah, given all the feedback, we're having a big discussion about the cooldown times. This'll all be GM supervised, so it shouldn't get too out of hand. TNT can't actually break blocks, so really it's an RP mechanic as a way to break open gates or doors. So if you have the TNT to blow down five gates, and you can get close enough to place and light the TNT without getting destroyed, then yeah. As for ladders, the raiders wouldn't be able to throw a ladder up to the top of the keep. We should probably clarify that it can only be used within reason -- like you can throw a rope ladder over a ledge that's not so far away and use that to climb up. A combatant in this event would be anyone attempting to stop the raiders. So if someone was keeping the gate shut to keep them out, then yeah, they'd be a combatant. Someone living in that particular settlement who is just watching would not be a combatant. Again, we're having a liddle chat about cooldowns. I'm also reading your proposals now. We're probably going to be axing lock-picking chests on raids because it undermines the usefulness of heists.

  12. Thanks for all the feedback everybody. Lemme stress this is all preeeeetty experimental -- it was clear you guys wanted new raid rules, so we're GOING to give you new rules. This post is just seeing if THIS ruleset works for you. If it doesn't? We'll throw a revised version in your face next weekend, probably. Point is, we're listening, and your feedback IS being taken into account, so keep commenting.
  13. War Team Rule Revisions Phase One - Raid Rules "i want BIG pvp" - Sun Tzu, the Art of War Hallo everybody! First of all, thank you all so much for your feedback on raids recently. Whether it was on my thread, Onslaughted's one, or Wolfkite's, we at the War Team have heard you at and debated the main points mentioned. And, as a result, we've began a three phase project to amend and introduce new rules regarding Raids, Wars and Coups. This is the first phase of this project -- Raid Rules, and our full list of revised rules is listed below. Please, whether you're a PvP goon or a mumbo jumbo RP magic master, take the time to read these rules, think on them carefully, and cast your vote. Don't vote no if you disagree with a single rule -- comment with what your issues are, and we will do our best to fix them for you. So, with that said, get voting! And no voting with Kingdom/Faction accounts. (I'm looking at you Pyro, "Imperial Administration") VOTING WILL CLOSE ON FRIDAY, MAY 19TH, AT MIDNIGHT GMT. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Green: Existing Rule Blue: Proposed Amendment Red: Proposed Addition Purple: Clarification __________________________ SECTION I GENERAL RULES ________________________________________ SECTION II LAWLESS RAIDING _____________________________________________ SECTION III LAWFUL RAIDING _____________________________________________ SECTION IV WAR RAIDING _____________________________________________ SECTION V COUNTER RAIDING ______________________________________________________ SECTION VI THE MOST IMPORTANT PART ____________________________________________________ Thank you for reading, and please, just once again, read them very carefully and think them through analytically before voting. If anyone has any direct concerns, please contact me either on this thread, through a PM on the forums, or add me on Discord (Xarkly#8203) You can expect Phase Two, War Rules, to come soon! Hugs n kisses, - The GM War Team
  14. cLaImEd You have my skype (Conor) so just poke me on there when you're about and we'll get it done.
  15. Thanks for the feedback bbz We've already compiled the main points mentioned across this thread, along with the ones Wolfkite and Onslaughted made, so we're hoping to bring you guys some new rule proposals for you guys to view and possibly vote on before we make them actual rules. Stay tuned and dont forget to rep xoxo
  16. Alrighty, so this will be going ahead on the proposed date, Saturday the 13th of May, at 3PM EST/8PM GMT. I've spoken with the leaders about siege equipment, defenses, yada yada, but the main thing to note as of now is; Whichever side holds the Krag after three hours will be the winner.
  17. I'd opt for a medium sized map, but more than size needs to be done right to get a good map. 1) I liked the idea mentioned on the first page about unexplored territory. This is perfect; it can help condense roleplay in the 'discovered' locations, while hundreds, literally hundreds, of events could be done with adventuring out into the unknown. 2) The map should be heavily linked to the maps storyline, from start to finish. If it's some mumbo jumbo spooky stuff, for example, then there should be ruins and other oddities hidden throughout the map that can give hints and tell a little bit of the map's story. 3) Roads. A medium map with the minimal amounts of roads would help promote roadside RP. 4) Unique regions; have a group of karst tiles, have a group of desert tiles, snow tiles, plain tiles, etc, but try to keep them all bunched together and not repeated outside of their group. I feel like this would give parts of the map character and make them more memorable.

  19. Hi, hello, bonjour, hola, oogly boogly, how ya doing. So - I'll keep this short and simple. With a recent change in the GM War Team lead, we're looking to know about any problems that you, the players, might be experiencing when it comes to wars or raids. If you can think of any way to improve our current systems, then we'd love to hear it, and similarly, if you've any new ideas that you think might benefit LoTC wars and raids, then we'd really like to hear them too. I'm hoping to introduce some new rules that JVQ was working on regarding raids and raid caps during his tenure as War Lead, but until then, we'd love to hear from you!
