Bird, that was the concept of 'farm plots'. Even described as placement for both farm and aesthetically purposes within my posts. Roads, forests, whatever should've been able to be altered beneath that parameter. Its a shame it didn't carry on so well.  

The sentiment is well placed but any system that require needless staff intervention (because we have to get a GM to give us the plot) its just a pain in the ass. If we're going to be building there regardless, I don't see the point in adding layers of bureaucracy
