    1. Leyun is a woman. I know her hair is part MPM only but seriously! *grumbles about misgendering* 1.1 Dri misgendered her in character before and Leyun and Kefi spent a good half hour trying to correct him before Kefi gave the okay to slap him :P 2. I wouldn't use Leyun for an Ent Dryad. I'd use a new character. 3. Well, the tree calls to the elf, so I suppose Riel'a gets to decide? Maybe? *shrug*

    Dryads bond with their tree to the point where they are nearly the same being. I would imagine that it would have a profound impact on the Ent as well. Also, the Bioshock reference doesn't really work, because unlike the little sisters, Dryads are fundamentally guardians of the tree they bond to.

    I -do- intend to make Leyun a dryad at least temporarily... if you make it possible for a dryad to bond with an Ent... hmm... how does the bonding process affect an Ent? How do they perceive the wood elf that has been called to them? I'm interested now. EDIT: To be clear, I -wouldn't- bond Leyun to an Ent because then it would have to remain permanent, and I think that would derail the character, while taking the inner peace that becoming a dryad brings away would provide an avenue of character development. I do think that I will make a permanent dryad character at some point, though, and being bonded to an Ent would definitely be interesting.

    Ah, so it's not as ominous as it sounds, perhaps a stint of bad luck at worst? The note made it look like cursing in elvan in particular had consequences. For reference, my character will probably curse at the person who drugged her, so it isn't exactly undeserved.

    Well, I have spoken to an Arch Druid and two guides. They have not heard of cursing in elvish drawing the attention of ill-meaning aspects, which you clearly state several times here. So I guess this is a question for the lore masters and elvish language experts. What does it mean RPly to have the attention of ill meaning aspects from cursing in elvish?

    I said I know what the aspects are. I'm asking how having the attention of the negative ones would work out in RP. EDIT: How subtle/overt are they, is basically what I'm asking. EDIT2: Also, about visiting the grove *points to "Dedicant" in her characters name ;) *

    This is an amazing resource. I've barely managed to memorize a few words, but it's definitely interesting. I would like to see more familial words added, though. You have words for mother and father, but not sister or brother or son or daughter, or even child. I may have to sit and see if I can come up with some words for them and give them to you. For clarification: When you say cursing in elvish draws the attention if negative aspects, what exactly does that mean IC? ( I know what the aspects are ) Bad luck? Poltergeist-like activity?

    Can it be assumed that libraries will carry books other then the specific lore books listed, such as a book on basic first aid?

      It can't be assumed that any library would. A library solely dedicated to magic probably wouldn't, for example. But if it was a large library with many books on a variety of subjects, that should be fine.
