Personally I try not to make too many discretion calls and follow protocol as closely as possible, because in my experience the second you do something outside of what is required people start flailing about and call favouritism, bias and pocket-gm.

Should have expected that only villain-roleplayers would complain this much about having to do a detailed-emote at most 9 times in a day. Oy vey. I personally want to see you emote because. 1: We want to see if it is even feasible for you to open the door. 2: Because you have a habbit of just PMing a GM and spamming the roll button three times, making it too easy and hazzle-free to potentially steal another player's items. 3: We want to see how much noise you'd make. If you think your action through and commit your action in a feasible and silent manner, you won't make enough noise for people to come get you. If you are really worried about wasting our time, just write out your emotes in advance, done. I'm sure that's the reason you're all upset.
