I do. Maybe my example is a bit shitty-- Look at someone like Huckabee-- They literally want an official Christian country. Nobody says you can't have certain values, but a LOT of Republicans with lots of support (like people from the tea party) have that thought.

Well, it's a matter of who a candidate represents, Space. Huckabee, for example, represents Evangelical Christians- of course he's for more Christianity in government. The Establishment Clause doesn't keep religion out of state, it keeps state out of religion. Politicians like Huckabee want a more Christian government because they think a more Christian government would be a better one. There's nothing wrong with that.

Democrats bring up race, religion, and guns just as much as any Republicans do. Again, it's just the opposite of the spectrum.
