Day Two of posting this until mods/basket finally response: Been almost a month since admins announced that they wanted to extend the raid caps for a temporary amount of time. What's taking so long? Seriously, don't give me some bs response like "We have to balance between the raid cap and what the appropriate cooldown would be" like seriously I'll do it for you right now: Extend the raid cap for a month to what raid caps would be during wartime. Make the cooldown three days so it gives the settlement/nation time to have some non-villainy rp (or better yet, just have no cooldowns to see how that would work). See, wasn't that easy? Only took two of my braincells and five minutes to figure it out.

@ScreechrI don't disagree. Trial and error force change to happen, however that might be. I'd prefer to things to happen smoothly, and with the consent of a majority, for example. But that isn't always the case. If there is a flaw, we have to fix it - there's no other choice.

Lol, that's a good one. It just reaffirms that we don't all share a brain, nor do we agree with each other all the time - which is why it's important to keep communication open and honest. I'm always down for a conversation, even if my input in the general workings of LOTC isn't much - but most people would rather make snarky statuses or forum posts that get them rep, rather than trying to find solutions alongside us.

The problem is that y'all view members and staff members as two separate entities, when we all want the same. And I don't agree that feedback threads are useless, but things take time to accomplish. I'd be down to implement every change that I find beneficial in a day, but that's just not how it works - nor is it up to me, honestly.

Although, I have to admit that often we share the same sentiment - about what can be fixed to provide a better environment to LOTC. We're not immune to disagreement with policies and/or actions taken during our various staff tenures. I think it's important to speak up and have strong opinions about the betterment of our server, but we can do this without anger. It'll likely get you further. But that's just my personal opinion.

I remember the player who groomed me when I was 14 came back to the server two days after an admin telling me "We dont have to ban him, he wont come back anyways" haha thanks for the character development I guess
