In mid Malin’s Welcome, a posting was put up on accessible bulletin boards across Arcas. A few of the postings were put atop each other, so that the copies could be taken by people who had access to the more inaccessible ones. Each one was carefully written and read as follows: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Danger of the Voidal Tear Early this Malin’s Welcome of 1719, our party of druids traveled to a site of great voidal damage and spreading blight. In the interest of safety for all and the closing of this tear, I share what I have learned from our experience. After having the fortune of meeting some friendly dwarves there and being joined by others, we were all attacked by four monstrous creatures. These beings possessed great strength, one could move around in a mist-like form and sent those who it touched flying. I have no doubt that our group did not even see the full range of their abilities. I expect as well that more of the creatures exist closer to the tear itself. After we defeated those that came against us, we were able to gather some information from an arriving man called Styxius the Wizard. Killing the creatures will not close the tear, it is being opened by a power source unknown to us. All the creatures that were slain will only re-emerge from the tear in time to once more threaten all. He also informed us that we were not the first group to have such an encounter, and I expect we won’t be the last. In her burrow, another druid had tended to the little busywork around her little home. She hummed sweetly as she worked and paused briefly to feed the hedgehog that snuffled around on her table. A moment of peace which was shortly broken. She still was not accustomed to the sadness that swept over her, but the other feelings that came with it drove a spike through her heart in morning for another Brother she had never known. With tears welling in her eyes and and a gasp of breath she leaned heavily on her crook. She spoke softly, heard only by herself, the resident hedgehog, and a little mouse hidden in its hole. “A third...three of them in hardly three years.” She stopped for breath and choked back a sob. “B-blessed be.”

Coming to a bulletin board now was a young dwarf with dark hair, grey skin and mismatched eyes. She eyed the posting curiously, then went to have a look the the book herself. “Bloodeh ‘ell. T’ey beet meh to eit.” She said with a laugh as she thumbed through the listings. “S’pose I canneh complain too much. S’better than what little I ‘ad so fer an’ saves me t’rubble. Ah’ll appreceate work well dun’ who’err did ‘ti.” Then, glancing around, she started to pen down copies of some of the useful listings into her own notebook. ((Really well done document. I had the same idea a week ago with a dwarf I’ve been working on haha.))

Marie sighed as she watched the notice going up, but laughed a little and she spoke to herself. “Well, at least it’s nice to be around my kin again if only for a short while. Hopefully I can spend less eventful time with them soon.”

Or Queen George more precisely, though the account I use for minecraft is Figglewigitz! Though I got whitelisted in 2015, I’ve only actually started playing as of a month ago and have been enjoying myself a lot. This isn’t the first server I’ve roleplayed on. I began roleplaying properly in April of 2013, played on one server for the next few years and then took to doing Vampire the Masquerade RP on Discord for the last two years before finally being brought properly onto this server my a friend of mine. My character now is Marie, a halfling lass who’s well on her way to becoming a druid. It’s been fun so far and I look forward to playing more!

I’m having trouble getting Freja to link to my forum account. As you can see this is my forum account, Queen George. My currently whitelisted account which I’ve been playing on for the past month is Figglewigitz. I have tried: /Freja forum Queen George /Freja forum QueenGeorge /Freja forum queen george /Freja forum queengeorge /Freja forum Queen_George /Freja forum queen_george All to no avail. I have tried logging out and back in again on the forums, Logging out and back in again on the server, Both before and after restarts today and yesterday. I would try changing my display name, but haven’t made enough posts yet to be able to do that. I have at least been able to connect to my discord account, but that doesn’t help me since my end goal is to get my other account whitelisted. Requiring me to link to the forums. Any help would be appreciated!

Her mother was a seamstress that sheltered her daughter greatly as she began to grow older. Her father had once served in the war between the Reformed Kingdom of Oren and the Silver Enclave of Haelun'or, but he did not come away unscathed. He returned home after having lost an arm during combat, because of this he struggled to hold down a job, forcing him to work whatever odd jobs he could find for whatever money he could get. As her father was absent for all but short periods of time if he came home at all on any given day this caused her mother became even more attached to her young daughter. From her mother she learned some simple sewing and how to tend to a house. When her father was home he told her tales of the noble ancestors and taught her the most basic ways of wielding a dagger. During this time as she grew up her life was relatively peaceful until this came to an abrupt end. She was only ten when most of Athera was destroyed by a giant worm. A dark time for her family was only just beginning. At the time when her family was forced to move and could wait no longer, her father had never returned home and was then presumed dead. Upon arriving in Vailor their remaining funds quickly dwindled and the small family struggled. Vey'ales's mother now lost the last of her hope when Vey'ales was 13. In a desperate move for something she dressed her daughter up in her finest clothes and gave her what little jewellery that had been passed down in the family to make her as appealing as possible, hoping that if anything that Vey'ales might find work in some mans household. So Vey'ales left her new home and mother and never saw either again, she found a new household where she worked as a servant to keep herself housed and fed until she was 19. Not long before she would turn 20 her master died of suspicious circumstances. Vey'ales was considered as a potential suspect but there was no proof of guilt, yet with no master now and no claim to his house or moderate wealth she was left with nothing but the clothes on her back and the few possessions that she owned. She now is trying to find a new home and work so that she may keep on living as best she can with hopes to properly settle down one day. Personality Traits: Understanding: Vey'ales has a very easy time listening to the worries others have about themselves and accepting them for who they truly are. Subservient: Vey'ales is the type to bend to the will of others, unless she cannot stand to act upon the things asked of her she will likely act without complaint. Compassionate: Vey'ales is very kind and caring to those around her. Freely showing her emotions and willing to act boldly if her friends sake is on the line. Self conscious: Vey'ales is very concerned and insecure about herself and how others perceive her. Ambitions: Vey'ales hopes that one day that she can be happy with who she really is despite her great insecurities. Overcoming her self consciousness and being able to live a little for once. She also would like to become much better at sewing and be able to do more than just repairs and possibly make her own clothes. Strengths/Talents: Basic sewing: Vey'ales has some skill with a needle and thread. Patching up tears and repairing damage takes no time at all. Basic cooking: Vey'ales has the knowledge and skill to make simple meals with limited ingredients. Basic dagger fighting: Vey'ales is able to wield a dagger, but most of her moves are flashy or for show. Having little practical fighting use especially with her weaker body. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Physically weak: Vey'ales has very little strength, a child wielding nothing more than a wooden stick could likely overpower her in combat. Un-educated: Aside from knowing about the ancestors, cleaning, and enough reading and writing to do shopping and cooking she knows very little about the world and the people in it.
