  1. The fact that previously the server had been fine, albeit laggy in other warclaims? That is actually not a signal at all for a possible hard crash in the future. Server lag was caused by the software itself in previous warclaims if I remember. Since the application doesn't use all the resources available to it, but when its failing to save, or react. That's a boiling issue where the application is using too much resources, and its very likely it'll crack the server in the process. Today's servers are meant to take some beatings, but when it is actually failing to save data. That's beyond beatings and straight up torturing. There could have been permanent damage if it went on for too long.
  2. Do note that you guys might have been like "But we still wanted to fight." but I will tell you right now. You do not want a server to hard crash on you like how it was possible today. Everything on the server could have been wiped, and if it was really as bad as it was. The servers could have been permanently damaged. Its not a pretty scene, and even with some top tier equipment; A hard crash is basically death for a server as so many things are out of wack, you'd just end up with a bunch of hardware with the insane quest to implementing as much of the original software on it.
  3. A woman of considerably young age sits in a quiet room. There are no windows, no doors, and no way out. She sat upon a black wooden chair, and before her was a small black wooden table, which held a bright blue burning candle. The candle whipped side to side. Sitting in front of her is a picture of her father. "I am a silent reaper of the night. A cynical being that exists only to destroy those that once sung the vibrations of life. A truly bloody job it appeared to be, and by all means; I did not sign up for it. I was born a mistress, taught to seek a golden spoon for as little effort as I could avoid using. I was to stay in shape, be kind, and be beautiful to those that looked after me. It was a misdirection, and an espionage of the dirtiest degree. I was everything that could crumble, destroy, and change. It was a job of pure glee for in my youth it fed me with the sums that kings drooled to behold. I was a kindred woman despite what was said about me, yet the very few that spoke were as terrible as I was. Blood was revealed in my wake, and every single time I did what I had to do. I did it without question. To be fed thousands of coins for simply misleading another. It was a morally colored trigger of events. The color my morals posed were as dark as the black dress I adored and adorned upon my figure when I went about my job. It was practically it's own decree as to see my sweet dress." "When my days became numbered. Where many who banded together to overcome the power I held combined with my cohorts. They were angry, to be deceived by the king's princess. All in desperate attempts to shuffle the powers that held the keys to the land that I was born in. I was a tool for those that were already filled with power. A creature used in attempts to shatter every noble family ranging from the very boys I ran through the courtyards with as a child. As far as the desert caliphates, for everything had a purpose, and that purpose was to cause misdeeds. I brought the vices out in those that sought my company. I was beaten, bloodied, and for every touch upon my form. I was paid a raise." "These souls that garnered together to remove my head from my shoulders were many. Past family, those boys from the courtyards, their mothers I had destroyed, their fathers I had troubled, and those that held familial relationships with. I was nothing but a terror, and a when they finally got what they wished. The bells of hell had rung out in my name." "I am the one and only soothsayer, a woman of empathy, sympathy, and apathy. I am Saturn, and I am the deceiver." ---~---~---~---~---~---*^*---~---~---~---~---~--- I was bored, and its the middle of the night here. Small, but decent.

  6. Change without purpose is a fad, a fad comes and goes, dear McCree. Let us all hope for the best.
  7. Remember that we (the departments) as a whole can not change overnight, and as much as i'd like to be overly optimistic of this decision. This will stay take a greater quarter of the year to produce and reform to proper aesthetic, societal, and technical standards. I'm glad we are improving, but there needs to be more depth to break the silence among the teams. Which are not quick and swift blows, but rather gradual endeavors.
  8. Don't forget what else the Orc Curse is: A RP gate against newer players that don't understand blah A form of communication that creates cliques that no one wants to join. Their skins are harder to produce thus ruining more chances for more players. Just some out of character stuff that makes it harder for the orc community to grow as a whole. Thus promoting its 'meme' culture because of how attuned every single player in the group to one another.
  9. It takes time for you to get implemented by a Game Moderator. They usually do it in one big wave so you'll have to wait a bit, regardless.
  10. I'd rather we didn't have curses all together. The removal of them allow for us to do whatever; because we already do whatever we want most of the time.
  11. No, hes mine. I claim him in my own pocket, no one elses.
  12. How does it feel knowing that overtime i've slowly taken control of your life right now by making you reply to Ang, and also decide on disregarding or regarding this message as if I was controlling you. I own you.

  14. Willing to put down 750 to maybe 1000 Minas depending on the quality. Would like to see some references before hand. You can add my skype (nocurema), or bother me on the forums. I prefer the first.

  17. __________________ ---- __________________ A fine woman stood adorn in the plate of a paladin; worn for the holy course that has endowed her with the expectations of fighting for her grace that controls the parish she was born under the rights too. She stood with brothers, men of similar wear and tear as she did, adorned with the same plate as her. Some wore larger shoulder plates, some wore capes, others had scimitars, and others wore goofy shapes. Their shields rose as a protective measure of what stood before them. Creatures of the most unholy caliber that wrecked havoc against their order once before. These demons were wealthily endowed with the powers that were given to them for walking down the darker path. These new-blooded Holy knights shivered behind their steel and iron plate. Most had never met such nefarious creatures in the likes of battle. They were young, adventurous yet undisciplined. They fought against the occult, the unusual, and the hideous. Those that determined by the faith itself to be ignoble and weak. Mortal Creatures that rose against the divine, and were to be crushed by the knights that swore to protect it. The creatures they looked upon today were demons of the abyss, riddled with malcontent. Each pace more terrifying then the next. Every slap of their goat like hooves against the ashened grass simply rose the heartbeats of every Paladin that stood beneath them. The demons felt pleasure in that... A peculiar demon rose his arm with a black lance. Staring into the lines of white and gold, staring at their adornments and weapons. He could only smile, presumably pleased with his luck to have gathered a horde to test his skill on whilst also to kill. A shout of tongues emitting from the creature, and within a moments notice the Paladins that stood before him perished with a surge of blazing light. Each and every one of them disappearing like smoke to the wind. Yet there still stood one paladin, one follower of the holy light that she swore to protect. That demon, Murmur, as he would be called in the history books, began to pace towards her. The young paladin quivered in her heels. She shivered and shook in immense fear as the embodiment of the contortion of angels rose to her. He met his crystallized eyes with hers. The sapphire swept eyes of the demon peering over her figure. He only laughed, before opening his cruelly tormented mouth. Whispering to the mortal: "Where is your god now?" __________________ ---- __________________ Another story. Oh my lord, It's time to stop.
  18. -- A letter is printed en masse, posted throughout Vailor upon pamphlets. -- -- Many are around the Cloud Temple Docks, -- -- though others are put up in areas Vigil members have recently been spotted. -- -- The letters are written with elegant handwriting, penned in silver ink. -- To Members of the Vigil, Many of you have likely heard of me, though I suspect very few have actually met with me outside of a negotiating table wrought with nothing but violent threats. Today I write to you in hopes of changing this. I do not want war, violence nor ire between those of Celein and Haelun’or. Perhaps to your own disbelief, I merely wish to live unaccosted so I might pursue my goals irrelevant to the Silver State. Though I sought merely to avoid war and allow the Vigil and Celein to coexist, recently a choice was pressed upon me that led me to question the possibility of such an option. Only a few short days ago, members of the Vigil kidnapped two of my children, Crumena and Elleyun Izalith, an act so abhorrent that I still cannot fathom such an occurrence. I was promptly informed, and had my agents give me updates regarding their condition. They were taken to the Citadel and questioned extensively, seeking to press them to turn upon their home. Following this, they sought to convince my son to murder me in cold blood. Yet these two failures are not what makes the actions presented today so despicable. No, what made today’s events truly unforgivable was their next desire. To execute one of my children in my stead. I was informed promptly via carrier pigeon that Arche Raell wished to kill one of my children. It was only after my children were returned that I learned Tahorran Raell was also among those with such murderous inclinations. Were it not for the steadfast and honorable temperance of the Sohaer, I fear that the Vigil would be guilty of the most heinous of crimes. To murder an elven child! To bring children in the middle of politics is unacceptable on its own, yet this is beyond forgiveness. No upright elf would ever consider such a detestable act to be one of an order to protect all of elvenkind, for children are to be most prized above all others. If “a Vigil must be stalwart in their preservation of the ways of elvenkind,” then a Vigil must reject these acts, and isolate themselves from those who would condone them. Elviran, I ask you now with this knowledge, look upon your order and tell me what you see. I fear it will be quite different from what you were promised. -- A portrait of a Vigil is drawn below, restyled to reflect a different perspective. -- If you believe the murder of elven children to be just, then remain with the Vigil; they are an order suited for your ilk. Yet if you joined Elviran to protect your fellow mali, I implore you to cast aside your sword and green tabard. There is no shame in admitting you have been led astray, only in the passive acceptance of crimes against all elvenkind. Will you stand by the words which the Vigil are meant to dedicate themselves to, or follow in the footsteps of would be child-killers? There are two sides, yet only one stands for all elves. The Nearly Mourning Father, Laethis Izalith -- At the bottom there is another portrait of a battle between a dark and light Vigil. -- ----------------------- Penned by Laethis Izalith, edited by the Hierarch’s Scribe, Desi, Ward of the Izalith Bloodline. 20. Desi heard the news in passing while reading books in the Celein Library, beginning to smile and become distracted by the news. She threw her book down and ran around the library a couple of times in flurry of happiness. Maybe knocking down a shelf or two, oops...
  21. The dark armor wearing individual kicks her legs off onto a table, apparently sitting in a chair. Bow, and a healthy stock of arrows by her side. "I wonder how long silver holds up to heat." She mumbles, drifting into a unconditionally lazy sleep.
