  1. FINALLY Now I can FTB in Whisper CRP in large groups at greater distances
  2. MC Name: Trekwars Discord: Trekwars#7141 Character Name: Arevthor Tathvir Age: 118 Race: Snow Elf Reason For Joining: Persona is currently at a transitional stage in life, trying to find a new path to lead. He’s hoping to get more involved with scholarly studies rather than politics or warfare. Affiliation: No true alliances but hangs around Aegro often.
  3. A few folks have already said this but I’m gonna repeat it anyway, no Library of Dagur. I think it would be more interesting if the Library wasn’t protected by the borders of CT, but rather out in the wild like any other guild or group. I did like how CT this map was smack dab in the center, making it so that every other nation was, for the most part, the same distance from it. Makes it super easy for new players to find the nations their characters belong to instead of having to wander the map for an hour trying to find it. And building off of this I’d just say more navigation signs and directions, make sure that players know where they’re going and how to get there after they leave Cloud Temple (Whether this be done by well placed signs, a map of sort, warp signs/carts, or even Monks RPing regularly)
  4. Run down of how PVP plays a crucial role on the server, both in one on one PVP but also skirmishes and Raids. It’s always difficult seeing a new player join in not understanding that PVP is an important cornerstone of the LOTC experience. Doesn’t have to be a complete PVP break down, but an explanation about how the war system generally works, raids, skirmishes, and 1 v 1 PVP typically starts and goes down.
  5. Make it so that a war actually means something. Not just a bunch of raids and war claims that ultimately mean nothing a week later.
  6. Ha ha! That’s why I picked the name! Oh also 2
  7. Alright kiddos, I was flipping through the forums and noticed we didn’t have something like this readily available for our community yet so I decided to start it up and see what happens. It’s a fairly popular game on other forums so I thought I’d bring it over to LOTC. The game is called STAFF VS PLAYERS Obviously the two teams will be staff members and players. Concept of the game is that each team is trying to work together to count higher than the other team. Summary of rules: No player or staff member may post more than once in a row. Proper example: If for example you are a staff member and you post 1 you have to wait for another staff member to post 2 before you can post again. Wrong way to do it No matter how high the staff or players have counted to, if the opposing side posts 0, the counter is reset. Proper example: Wrong way to do it Upon the post of a zero either side can start posting with a 1. If a staff member posts 0 a player doesn’t have to post 0 right away to reset it again. Proper example: After every 0 post I will update this post with the current record holders. SAMPLE GAMEPLAY: Player 1: 1 Player 2: 2 Player 3: 3 Staff 1: 0 Staff 2: 1 Staff 3: 2 Player 1: 0 *and so on and so forth Alright ladies and Gents, I’ll start off the game with a big fat 0 SERVER RECORD HELD BY: No one right now.
  8. 7/10 Very attractive, not quite my type.
  9. The howl of the wind echoes throughout the tundra, resonating against the towering mountains and ravines. It cuts through the valleys hoisting up the powdered snow before colliding against the mountain’s edges. Along the mountains, small outcroppings and cliff edges act as natural shelter from the torrential winds. Tucked behind one of these outcroppings the figure of a Mali’Fenn sits beside a small fire, trying to keep the flames alive despite the tundra’s best efforts. The ‘Fenn pauses his work upon noticing a single bird navigating the flurries of snow. After struggling against the force of the wind the bird manages to land alongside the ‘Fenn with a piece of paper wrapped around its leg. In a single movement the bird shakes the resilient snow from its feathers. A chuckle resonates from the ‘Fenn as he glances to his companion, outstretching his hand to take the letter. It takes some time and fumbling for the man to untie the red ribbon the letter was bound by, but once undone he tosses the ribbon into the flickering flames before resting backwards in order to inspect the letter. As he unfolds the note he allows a shiver to run along his body from the cold, silently wishing the fire would grow larger. “Where’d you find this llir?” The man hums to the bird as he begins to read through the letter. His eyes skim across the paper, mouthing the words along silently before pausing suddenly. After a squint of his eyes he mutters “Akkar Hmm? Well that’s different.” After finishing the letter the man begins reading it again, determined to commit the writing to memory. After feeling content with his grasp on the letter he turns it over, noticing that the back of the letter has the name of the recipient written on it. The ‘Fenn cannot help but allow a smile to creep across his face upon seeing the name. He glances to his companion to see if he is equally amused by this, but the bird has busied himself with plucking an unfortunate bug from it’s feathers. Returning his attention back to the letter the man leans forward, resting it upside down atop the flames. As the sparks begin to ignite the edges of the paper the Mali’Fenn stands up from his seat, retrieving his tools and lute from the ground. Giving a quick whistle, the bird flies to its companion, perching on the man’s forearm carefully. The Mali’Fenn turns around, beginning his first step down the mountain. However, he can’t help but give one final glance over his shoulder at the burning letter with yet another chuckle. Despite the flames engulfing the paper, the same three words can still be seen, standing out defiantly; DEAR AREVTHOR TATHVIR
  10. Arevthor Tathvir smiles as he hears about the new Alliance, quickly returning to serving drinks and whistling a familiar Snow Elven tune.

  12. I like the concept of another sort of sub race/culture of elves and the idea of a desert-based elven civilization. When I think of elves I never really think of deserts so I’m down for this idea. Super excited to see what comes of this!!

  14. Hi, My name’s Trekwars but everyone can just call me Trek. I had joined the server a couple years prior but never really got into it or too involved with anything, but I always loved the idea and concept of it. So just the other day I thought I would hop onto here and see if I could get back into my old account, so here we are. Just sorta felt that I should make an official(ish) introduction page on the off chance I do become more active than I have been in the past. P.S. if anyone could give me some advice on navigating and getting back into the swing of things that would be awesome!
