Seems like everyone has their own undead eventline now. Not much fear on LoTC lately.

The no fast travel raid ban is kinda dumb. Serves no purpose on a map that was literally designed for fast travels.

Okay .. Malgonious, TheSilentFriend's, LeLapin's, And Mcpancakes Ban Was not a glitch in the weapons it was a glitch in the system
Okay so..
If you didn't know sometimes when you repair certain Peaces of Armor it gets glitches as we have experienced today! (Just recently been happening) Not entirely the users Fault.. Not worth the ban.. Instead of Banning Malgonious, TheSilentFriend's, LeLapin's, And Mcpancakes, Perhaps ask them what happened.. and try to fix the issue instead of just leaving it for more people to get banned and not do jack ****.. The Staff's job is too make the server better not just ban someone falsely..

They didn't believe me.. Your armor and gear may be glitched..
If you truly wish to make LOTC better talk to them first and try and understand the issue.. Don't just listen to one side of the story and not the other
You may be like 'Your a Norlander thats why you want them unbanned!!!'
I want them unbanned, Not just cause I'm a Norlander, But because it wasn't their fault it was a glitch in the system, That should be fixed right away! So other people don't get banned for the same reason
I would have done this for any other one that has been banned for this Glitch..

@mitch dharma They shouldn't get a free pass, but a weapon you have used for a long time suddenly getting glitched is a bit hard to catch sometimes, specially with numbers having been moved around with the 1.8 combat change somewhat recently. As long as they can't prove they noticed it and vice versa its a tough situation.

Idk, seems pretty easy to not notice the items being glitched if they where just repairing them for before a raid. Seeing as they didn't go around slaughtering people elsewhere with said items, the bans seem a bit excessive, still used a glitched item when they coulda checked the stats before hand but it was new server glitch, like am month or so seems like it woulda been fine, glitched items are common and not noticing something like that on all your gear is a bit of your own fault, but still not 6 months worthy imo.

find it funny how some holy users can't take an L sometimes and get 3 gms to come monitor rp when spooks get annihilated by their **** magic on a regular basis. really good for creating rp and community cohesion guys.

Anyone with some expertise in musical theater/acting willing to give some audition tips? Or people who listen to musical soundtracks who can recommend tunes to sing.
I have minimal experience in the field of drama, but am fairly decent at music.

I do audio management and design from the back of the house so I help with auditions often. Just act confident, if the director talks with you a bit about your choice and why you are trying out before singing, speak clearly and loud enough to be heard if he is a ways off into the theater house.. As others have said, no isn't the end of the world and the experience helps a ton for next time.

I use to think the community was just whiny as a new player; but now that I was a part of my first raid ever I can see all the complaints are just. People messaging others on Skype to get on and fight, people interrupting RP and not emoting actions. It's all lovely; no wonder the server has trouble with player retention when certain communites are pure toxic.

Ok, so after a countdown is initiated on agreed to pvp, after that, its all mc mechanics, no rp needed, untill the fight is resolved. Untill that timer hits, anyone who is in the rp is fine to join in the following pvp, even if they had just arrived only a emote or two before the pvp was called, if it would have given their character a fair reason to fight, its fine.

As for the skype business, if you where one of the few raiding haense, its perfectly within the rules to log into defend your home. Haense, being a big city, logically will have many people come out to defend it. Not saying I agree with the fact how quickly things moved to pvp, but you must be careful when involving so many people in combat rp, since defenders will typically move to pvp as things get confusing. Also, with a war on, people are used to raids being 6-8 well armed and strong pvper's, so be prepared for a large response if hitting a large target. Again, not saying I like it, but it is how it is.
