  1. Officer Gilondir Oronar steps up on the stage, ordening a few papers and coughing softly before he started his speech, not reading out anything, but just speaking from mind. Ladies and gentlemen, rich and poor, workers craftsman and tradesman of Aleksandria.. First of all, good day to you all, I hope everyone is doing fine on this beautiful winter day. He smiles softly, looking over the crowd. Then now let's get down to business hmm? I'm sure y'all didn't come for an idle talk. My name is Gilondir Oronar, officer under the house of Giordano in Stonewatch, I'm sure a lot of you people know me. He says as he notices a bunch of familiar faces in the crowd. Now, I'm running to be maer of this beautiful city, and not only that. Also the maer of it's great, fair and loyal citizens. I'm one that is definetily qualified to fullfill this task, as I have my connections both under the city folk and the family that lives in that palace up the hill that calls themselves royal... He winks. And ofcourse, I have a set of plans and ideas for this town and it's citizens, just like the others. So let's jump right into it, shall we? To start of with, seeing how great of a nation we are, our military ofcourse has plenty to do. Let's all be honest, we don't have the biggest military of all, and therefor I think deviding it's tasks is a good way to create more order and make it run more efficiently. That's why I want to start a city guard, the Aleksandrian Guardforce. This will be an armed force, dedicated to protecting the city and helping it's citizens, and independant from the military. Joining the Aleksandrian Guardforce is open for anyone in the military, but also citizens. Men and women. Creating this guardforce will take some pressure off our great military, as they no longer will have to pay as much attention to securing the city. The military will be able to focus on it's own tasks, and the Guardforce will be able to spend it's time and attention on securing our beloved city. Secondly, I want to change the infrastructure of the city. Just like sir Thassarion, I believe the roads should be improved from our dirt and mud paths to paved and stone roads. But my plans of enhancing the city's infrastructure don't end there. I want more open access to the water of the canal that surrounds the castle so that people can use the fresh natural water for their daily needs or swim in it. This will also make it easier to get out of it when one has fallen in, which I've seen is a pain in the but right now. Also I believe the city needs to be more lit up with streetlights, there are way to many dimly lit or dark places as of now. I want a bigger townsquare for people to use and enjoy, which I will get to in a second. Also more nature in the city to make it more attractive and alive is on my planning. What I think a lot of people will also enjoy, is a public working place for every citizen to use. This will hold a simple place for forging, cooking and various ways of crafting. Then, what might be the biggest change I want there to be made is expansion of the city. I want more space for various reasons. The first would be the housing. Making the city bigger would enable for more and bigger houses. Existing houses can either remain like they are as of right now, or be extended by combining attached houses which again enables for bigger houses. I will also see to it, that with this enlargening of our livingspaces, the taxes will not rise. In the worst case scenario they will remain what they are today but I will work on lowering the taxes, making housing more affordable for everyone, which enables people to spend their Minas on other things which will make our economy better. What the expansion of our town will also enable is for more space for public areas. I want a grander townsquare as mentioned earlier where there is a greater amount of shops for our own citizens to use. Not the big tradesmen who have shops everywhere, no. Our own people's shops. Also I want to set up facilities such as the working area that I mentioned earlier, but also a bigger tavern with rooms to hire, and a clinic. I don't think I need to explain the clinic, now do I? He smiles kindly to the crowd that had gotten bigger during his speech. Alright then, I'll wrap it up here. Vote on me, Gilondir Oronar, to be your maer. I will go to the fullest of my abilities and spend as much time as possible on helping you people, and making this town a better place for all. Good day to you all, and good luck with deciding on your vote. He nods to the applauding crowd, a confident expression on his face as he walks off the stage, waving to the citizens.

  3. Gilondir would frown as he saw the poster, a wide and false grin soon forming on his face. "Tha's the fecker who killed my nephew... Seems like justice wins in the end..."
  4. By now I lost all hope in my AT application by looking at Rella... >.< +1
  5. Laurir'acaln would read the letter that was pinned to his door as he sat down on his garden bench with a cup of tea, a frown slowly forming on his forehead. "He's done with it hm?... Sounds like more political unrest is coming our way.." He took a last glance at the letter before folding it into his pocket and heading down into the city.
  6. Potion of Love Description and effects: A light-red looking brew that fizzes a bit when shaken. Upon usage of this weird potion, the consumer will feel nothing at first. After a few seconds though, they would experience a lightheaded feeling. As the effects of the potion progress through the body, the drinker would begin to feel significantly warmer. The drinker's heart would begin to beat faster than normal and they'd start to feel very comfortable. The potion would cause the person that drinks it to feel more loving and affectionate than normal, making everything (as well as everyone) more amazing then ever to them. Also the effects of the potion would make the person's body create more hormones, causing them to experience a feeling of lust. 8. As he heard the news about Aelthus probably being dead Saendir was shocked. He hadn't known the mali for very long, though he felt a very strong connection with him. They were only formally brothers and not of blood, but to Saendir it did feel so. After having heard the news Saendir wanted to be alone, sad and even depressed of the terrible loss. He went outside the manor to sit down on a bench by the fire. He sat there for some hours with his head in his hands, sobbing, mourning about the person he had come to love so much but had now lost. "Poor Aelthus" he cried, "why did he have to die so soon, at such young age, with such a life in front of him". He looked down to the ground, tears rolling over his face, as he was pushing around a pebble with his foot. "Why did he have to kill himself, oh why dear aspects!" He cried to the sky and the trees above while saying this. "Why did they have to screw things up so bad for poor Meri and him..." He sighed with his voice trembling. "Oh if only he still was here with us, I wouldn't even mind him being so foolish.... Why just why did he have to take his life...." After having sat there for another hour, pondering about the events that had happened, he stood up walking back inside the manor. He walked downstairs to look at his brother's room. He didn't know why he was looking there but he felt almost as if he hoped to just see him sit there. Ofcourse he wasn't there. After that Saendir went outside again. Laying in the field behind the manor, he continued sobbing looking up to the stars. "Why isn't he looking up to those same stars and moon anymore... I would do everything in the whole wide world to just have him be looking up to those stars if only once more....." After that the poor depressed 'ame fell to a deep sleep.....
