its a little unclear to me as to whether or not we're getting buff horses bcs they were kinda divorced from vortex crafting and were more of a surge thing, but r still sorta vortexy. idk. id like em but if this is the sacrifice to kill a half-baked nexus then so be it.

@tasty_cheesecake Idk what i want to do with horses as of just yet I might, Idk if ill allow T8's but im working with the Alpha testers to write up a Surge Update for launch. We might keep horses, since if we don't they essentially become useless. But Vortex horses were extremely strong, so itll prob be less than a Vortex horse but more than a vanilla horse.

Anyone ever think of incorporating D&D to lotc's roll system? It's been said plenty of times i'm sure, but looking more in-depth, wouldn't it add more to the current system, if any?

Please up the amount of quartz in the mines, I'm trying to get a few stacks but on average I'm only getting 5 blocks per mine reset (2 hours). On a side note I'll buy quartz from anyone

Stone types, wood types, pris, sand, terrecotta, various other BUILDING nodes respawn timers have been cut. 2 hours to 30 mins.

@ImpinAintEZI mean Vortex's revision thats coming around addressed a ton of those problems, we gotta run it through a bunch more people before we can really say much about it. But! Building stuff and the LC thread that was around ended up making a new plugin, so at some point soon that should get posted on the forums

I know this isn't the place to ask, however, can we get a way to craft vanilla swords or something (maybe make them unusable) for people who want RP weaponry/the RP that goes into making that stuff? Or is there a plan to make black ferrum, aurum, and other common RP weaponry types more easily available for non-pvpers?

Not really a fan of all this custom weapon stuff, i’m more a fan of 1.9 pvp with a magic plugin or CRP just so lotc’s combat system can be more in line with the fantasy vibe. If you want to be a goon and just hit the roads and click and whine about mechanics, sit down and start typing emotes and you’ll see how much more flavorful it is. 🦍
