  1. I've seen you hostile. You're good 1. That still doesn't answer my question. Assuming the accusations are true. Not trusting admins is not reason enough to give out information that could cause someone with genuine concern of retaliation...retaliation for making the the report. B. So do what I did and proof it before posting with the person you're posting for.
  2. Alright I will admit I should have said most people instead of making broad generalizations about everyone being up in arms. Like I said before staff makes mistakes they are human, but to assume they as a collective target players purely out of spite with CVG is unreasonable. Why do we as the playerbase deserve to see any evidence? And the way around being forum banned is have someone post on your behalf. You and I both posted for Narthok a few times during one of his numerous bans.
  3. Let's try to stay on point. Simple fact is we as a whole will not get to see the evidence nor do we need to.. I agree the OOC stuff is shaky but if the accusations are true, the safety of the playerbase is what should be considered. Everyone is up in arms because they want to be up in arms. This is the way.
  4. Jakkir reviews the self proclaimed atta boy. "Well good for them, someone should thank them."
  5. Everyone seems focused on one point, the hostile takeover. The OOC plotting is what everyone does. Staff has said time and time again that discord is not considered rp. So when you get raided and ping everyone to get on to defend the city that by the definition of what staff says is OOC meta. Now I am focusing on the wrong point. What people should focus on is whether or not Twi was actually harrassing/threatening people. This is a game and should be treated as such, for enjoyment. If there is someone who is taking this to a level where people do not feel safe on a platform designed for entertainment staff has every right to step up and remove the offending party. Everyone keeps screaming about where is the proof of harrassment? What right is it of the entire playerbase to see it? It would only lead to more targetting, harrassment and threats. I have seen people saying that they are in the city government or they are good friends with Twi as justification. Who cares? If Twi was doing what they are accused of, shouldn't you have known and stopped it? From the other side, anytime someone was banned under my tenure on moderation an explanation was offered, a hint of evidence; something more than just CVG and done. I also do not know if anything was discussed with Twi, not my place. Staff is not infallible (Odin knows I made my share of mistakes) and both parties require a platform to be heard on. Should it be a public platform like the forums to post it on? Not for me to decide. If Twi wants a post why not share it with a mod or admin for some sort of review for "sensative" info and post on their behalf, or roll the dice and just post on their behalf? tl/dr I lost my train of thought somewhere in the vomit of words above

Do we face reality or create it?
  7. It's disheartening to hear this is still commonplace. I am truly sorry for what you've gone though. What makes you feel less alone when you are sad?
  8. Freebuild is a nightmare to manage and rarely produces any rp
  9. For the last time...Howdy! Let me begin with who I am. I am a father of 2 wonderful children, during my tenure as a moderator I expanded that to the playerbase. I went out of my way to treat everyone fairly and with respect. If you were pleasant during a modreq I would abuse my pex and give you cake. If someone mentioned in OOC they were having a bad day I would reach out to them either by pm or discord to talk to them. It did not matter to me what nation they were from because to me they weren't an orc or a human, they were an actual person. As are you dear reader. Fast forward from when I joined the team to about a month ago. A player had reached out to me asking if I had time to talk. They told me of issues they were having and I listened, offering advice where I could. We ended the conversation on a good note and they seemed to be feeling better. Over the next few weeks I had checked in on them a few times just to make sure things were still going well. This person's significant other took offense to this and messaged me the names of my children. This morning the situation was resolved, did I believe I or my family was in any danger? Of course not but I did have a wake up call. If my being who I am on this server would directly impact my family...is it worth it? Simple answer no. With this situation I have come to realize while most people do not, some take this game far too seriously and take their irp hatred way to far. So I'm stepping down and leaving the server. I am fighting a losing battle trying to help the players that do not want to be helped and I'm tired. To the person responsible for my epiphany, I am much better at the internet than you. I will not name you but I will let you know that I do know you were picked up by the police for possession 8 months ago and that your junior year yearbook photo you are wearing a blue polo with 2 white stripes on it. To my former team, we are staff but remember we are not better than anyone else. We are players with more responsibility to be an example. To every one else. It's been real. Tldr. I rambled, I'm leaving, treat each other like human beings please. Mods if you feel the information I shared is doxxing please ban me accordingly.

    Xalid

Xalid was born to a family of artisans and members of the Architecture Guild of the grand city of Sutica. His brothers and sisters all had the same affinity, Xalid showed no interest. Choosing to spend his time in Sutica's Central Market District and the Iris Wharf he became friends with the merchants and captains. Trade was his calling, be it unloading the ships or setting up stalls in the market, this is what he wanted to do. After much begging and pleading his parents gave their consent for him to join a merchant ship. For 3 years Xalid sailed with the crew and eventually proved himself worthy of setting up the trades with the local merchants. On one of his many voyages he heard of the Kingdom of Norland and the expert seafarers. The entire trip home he could not stop thinking about Norland. After returning home to Sutica he headed to the library and read up on the all the he could. On his 18th birthday it was time. He decided he wanted to strike out to Norland. Though not physically powerful as most Norlandians, that was where he was going to make a name for himself...
