I believe that building along the roads is a great way to produce roleplay. If someone wants to throw up a lair right next to the road or a nation wants to allow a vassal to build some village on the side of the road, that should be fine. Players are able to see people roleplaying in these small roadside communities and choose to interact if they wish. A problem occurs when the roads are actively blocked. Under no circumstances, should the main international road(s) be blocked off or built ON. If someone wants to be next to a main road, that's fine, but there shouldn't be built on top of the road or blocking it in ANY way. If a nation chose to create an aesthetic addition to the main road in their tiles, it should not have any applications to block the flow of traffic(i.e.. a bridge shouldn't have a gate).

Friday, March 24th, 4 PM EST The Vernal Ball Her Highness, Andromeda Ester of Ba’as, the betrothed of the Prince of Monterosa invites the citizenry of Balian and her allies to a grand ball within the Palatio Monterosa. The event is to be the first that the Princess shall host in Balian, making it the perfect time to meet the Prince’s future wife. The Princess asks that those in attendance adorn the colors of spring. Friday, March 24th, 5 PM EST The Month of Peter’s Glory The Galbraith Boar Hunt The Baron of Castelorena shall escort a group of citizens and international guests into the Eastern Savannah of the kingdom for a hunt of the Sand Boar native to Balian. The kill shall be on display at the beginning of the festival before being roasted by local cooks for all to enjoy. Saturday, March 25th, 12 PM EST The Festival of Spring’s Coming In conjunction with the Royal Duana, the Palatio Monterosa is to host a festival within the city center of Atrus. Stalls managed by the noble houses of Balian and loyal families of Atrus shall line the streets for the enjoyment of citizens and guests alike. Games of Apple Bobbing, Obstacle Courses, and more shall be held throughout the festival and announced for any interested to head to the designated areas. Saturday, March 25th, 5-8 PM EST The Month of Sun’s Smile The Joust of Asters The Baron and Baroness of Marsana extend an invitation to the Kingdom and her Allies to compete in a competition within the Ruthern Arena. The winners of each joust shall receive a flower crown, a symbol of their victory. The final winner of the joust shall receive a custom lance crafted by the Baron of Marsana himself for the occasion. Those not interested in fighting may watch the duels from the viewing area while enjoying drinks served by the Burrowed Possum Bar.
