WHILE I WAS AWAY, ON A SACRED PILGRIMAGE THAT GOD SEND ME ON, I WAS NOT GIVEN LUXURY OF PEACE. Instead, I was met with accusations and scorn. And then, the venomous words of MARARETE AMALIA — calling my family cowards, as if we, who have always been steadfast and true, would bow to such empty slander. Yet, it seems in his eyes, my faith and devotion to a higher calling mean nothing compared to his own desires. I will not bow to that arrogance.
