We condemn attempts by the ‘Gwynieverian Retrieval Organization’ to subvert the laws of our respective lands. It is this sowing of chaos within our borders which seeks only to instill fear and drive instability. Any form of justice which runs parallel to that of our monarchs will not be stomached. We will not allow fear driven pogroms to form within our realms against the Hexer Creed. Those acting on such bounties are therefore to be acknowledged as vigilantes and punished accordingly. The precedent that a foreign agent, claiming to hail from a far flung continent, can interfere in humanity’s affairs in this most haphazard of manners is intolerable. This ‘Elgan’ has called for action to be taken against the Hexers across Almaris as though they were an existential threat to our way of life. Yet, as a supposed outsider, he offers forth only vague antecedents and a set of unproven allegations to support his cause. These Hexers, known in olden times as the ‘Marked Men’, have sufficiently acted to safeguard the human realms from monsters and beasts of all varieties for centuries. The chapter on this continent has yet to commit any egregious acts which can be proven beyond mere hearsay. In contrast, the services which they have provided to our subjects are many. We acknowledge the Hexer Creed as an apolitical organization which has performed many serviceable deeds to mankind on this continent, at the very least in recent times. We care not for the actions of these supposed parallel orders abroad. The claims and assertions of a supposed foreign entity beyond Almarian shores are undeserving of acknowledgement, but the implications of said assertions must be made to stand without sanction. To act in opposition to a guild which has afforded mankind reprieve from the contemptible monsters threatening our people is, in itself, greatly unsettling, but to then attempt to extend that pursuit of false justice into foreign domains is an endeavor that will be made inauspicious.
