  4. John remarked from the confines of his workshop. Just after he and Archie had conversed about the published treatise from their companion Lorenz. "A thought-provoking and insightful analysis. The parallels between the two nations are concerning, and it is clear that Haense must take steps to address these issues if it hopes to avoid a similar fate. I hope that the leaders of Haense take Gavaudin's warnings to heart and work towards creating a more stable and secure future for their people." @Orlanth @itdontmatta
  5. There is absolutely no need to argue, Orlanth said it perfectly. He's just that guy.
  6. "No." says Antonius 'the Dragonknight' Vilac, first of his name, Prince of Vilachia and best swordsman of the realm. He sighs watching some feeble descendants butcher the legacy of the dragonsblood whilst publishing missives. A shame indeed. "Vilanchia? Woe to me."

  8. The contents of this post would only be known by the players that attended the event. Recorded 15th of Malin’s Welcome, 116 S.A. The descent into the cavern was perilous, the stalagmites and stalactites jutting out like deadly daggers. The air was thick with the musky scent of dampness and the sound of scurrying creatures, their movements echoing off the walls. The adventurers took great care with each step, wary of the dangers that lurked in the darkness. As they made their way deeper into the cavern, they were set upon by a swarm of leeches, their slimy bodies latching onto the flesh of the unwary. The group quickly dispatched the parasites, but the encounter left them on edge, knowing that they were not alone in the treacherous depths. Continuing on, the company came upon an assortment of arachnids, each the size of a fully-grown wolf. Fangs glistened in the faint light, venom dripping from their tips, and the creatures attacked with unbridled ferocity. The adventurers fought with all their might, their weapons ringing out in the confined space, and were eventually able to emerge victorious. Their path now unobstructed, the adventurers pushed on, ever deeper into the cavern. It was then that they came upon the draconic entity, and the company knew that they were in grave danger. The adventurers stood in awe before a portion of the fearsome creature, its massive orb imposing and intimidating. Its eye glowed with a malevolent intensity, fiery and vibrant like molten lava. It seemed to pierce through their very souls, and they could feel its unyielding gaze upon them. The Eye… Despite their attempts to communicate with the creature, it remained undisturbed, and in its wrath, sought to lay waste to their refuge with flames. The adventurers were forced to flee for their lives, their garments rent asunder by the swarming insects that emerged from the crevices of the shattered stone. At last, a glimmer of hope appeared, casting light upon the shadows. The exit beckoned them with the promise of sanctuary, an oasis amidst their troubles. As they emerged from the depths, they found themselves surrounded by the enrapturing flora and fauna of Amathea, a land of unmatched beauty and enchantment. The adventurers were awestruck by the vibrant hues of the blooming flowers and the melodious chirping of the songbirds that flitted about. It was a paradise amidst the chaos, a respite from the oppressive darkness that had surrounded them for so long. As they journeyed further into Elvenesse, they came upon a tranquil lake, its surface reflecting the idyllic landscape like a mirror. It was a welcome sight, a sanctuary where they could rest and recover from their harrowing experience. Many of the adventurers jumped into the lake, eager to wash away the insectoid creatures that had clung to their armor and skin. The gathering of friends and allies alike… As they swam in the cool waters, they felt a renewed sense of vigor, the weight of their fears and anxieties lifting off their shoulders. They laughed and splashed, forgetting their troubles and basking in the simple pleasures of life. The lake had become their refuge, a place where they could heal and regroup before continuing on their journey. But they knew that they could not stay for long, for the road ahead was treacherous and uncertain. With heavy hearts, they left the oasis, the memory of its serenity and peace guiding them through the trials and tribulations that lay ahead. Yet they knew that in times of darkness and despair, they could look back upon the lake and find solace in its beauty and tranquility.

  12. @shay Charles wailed in secrecy for the departure of not just a Queen, but a sister. Despite being absent in his own affairs for most of his life, he shared not just blood, but a bond with his sibling. He recalled the times in their youth, the innocence that was stripped as they grew and the many interactions and visits paid. The drinking, the laughter, meeting he who would latter become King and spouse of Amadea in the Nikirala. Though to no avail, for they were naught but memories, tales-to-tell another soul. The pain was insufferable, but he was used to the quietness and lack of reaction akin to his upbringing. "And now I notice it too. Just like I said I would." A single tear caressed the skin of the Rhenyari, no longer a boy, but a man. A broken one, fragmented by the passing of his kin. "Amadea. . ."
  13. @GMRO A final promise was made, by a figure forgotten by many, though remembered dearly by the monarch. The parting words, exchanges and final thoughts of a pair culminated where they all started. The domains of the Ruskan realm helped in shaping a most legendary friendship, virtues and traits of exemplar; a noble King, surrounded by noble kin. "Your legacy will never end. You will do well to watch upon it from the Seven Skies." The aged men exchanged looks, there was no similarity to the ages gone by, the concern. Anxious thoughts of the future were replaced by joy, respite of the journey that had just ended. They knew their heirs, their sons would do well, and so long as there was air within their lungs, they would aid them - if not from the azureous night above the Rimeveld. "Soar now, Karl Sigma(r) - may we meet again above." And so the afamed swordsman donned his plate once more, aged yet not unbound, for broken promises were not familiar of his accolades. He remained within the household of his deceased kinsman's ilk, a silent protector, a mentor; a watcher. . .
  14. A swordsman that was only significant before reads the missive. He enjoys such, and smiles the sun's smile.
