The First Imperial Tournament!

Large posters are hung in the noble district and messengers sent out to every noble house of Oren:

 

Citizens and Friends of the Chivays!

 

With the finishing of the Imperial Tournament Grounds and the approaching name day of Imperial Princess Emma Chivay it is time we brought our houses together in friendly combat to celebrate this momentous occasion.

 

Lords and Knights from every house are invited to compete in this two event tournament, Come earn glory for you house and nation! Please respond if you wish to participate in this tourny and list the events you wish to participate in. 

 

Honorary titles and a purse are offered to our champions:

 

Lord of the Lance - 1000 minas.

Lord of the Sword - 1000 minas.

Imperial Champion - 3000 minas.

(Imperial Champion is only awarded if a single person wins both events, they will hold all three titles but only get the larger purse.)

 

 

Our chivalrous champions will also be asked to defend Orens honor in future tournaments with champions from other nations. Holding one of these titles is one of the most honorable things a knight can hope for aside from victory in open combat. 

 

((It should be noted that these are not titles of power, and grants you nothing but honor and bragging rights. This title will also need to be defended in future tournaments or it will be given to someone else. If you are participating in jousting you shall provide your own horses but the crown shall provide housing for your horses at the tourny grounds per your request, as in reply to this thread if you need a stall and one shall be assigned.... you may have to share.))
