Ever 2648 Share Posted November 1, 2013 Mines will be unavailable for a bit today, I'll be regenerating them while also adding three more. Not much else to add, I'll try and get it done ASAP. Materials within the mines will remain the same for the most part. Every mine will be fresh since the original mine_world has to be unloaded due to a World Edit oopsie. We're also removing the Adventure Mines to help streamline and simplify LoTC. Most new players wouldn't understand the idea of a regenerating mine/non-vanilla mining so we've decided to do away with it. Those entrances will lead to new public mines. They look really nice, and are more of an exploration/adventure than a mining trip. Hence the name "adventure mine". So say the abresi mine entrance will lead to a server public mine? Aww....I really liked the Lenniel mine... It basically allowed you to AFK and get ore. No bueno! Replennished mines should easily last us till 4.0. Mephistophelian 977 Share Posted November 1, 2013 Would like to point out that there is an illegal mine named the blue moon mine (I think?) near the spawn. I made a modreq for it but... Well, yeah, you know the issue with modreqs during peek time... I did, however, place a few signs warning the user of those mines that they are not allowed (the way it was built was not RP fitting) and that they would need to change how it was made, so I hope they listened. Anyways, we're going to have to wait a bit longer on these. I found an issue. More than half of the mine is made up of air, but there are no air blocks. Doesn't sound like an issue, but then you realize that for 72,000,000 blocks of stone, there are only 90,000 blocks of iron. Humm...
