Chest-Shop Plugin Inoperative

It seems that for the last few days, the chest-shop plugin has been broken.

 

Does anyone know why, and/or when there will be a fix in place?

 

 

Abresi relies -heavily- on the chest-shop plugin, not just so people can trade, but also for the entire taxation system to function smoothly.

It was removed as it has a major glitch. They are working on finish their own shop plugin i believe before we get shops back.

Considering that many people use this plugin, I would greatly appreciate being informed. If it is due to my own fault (missing an announcement) that is fine, I will gladly stand corrected.. but at the moment, it seems "things just happen/are disabled" without proper communication.

 

(I mean no disrespect to the Tech team, as I appreciate you must be very busy sorting things on a daily basis. I simply wish to be informed on a topic that is of great importance to the city I currently run.)

I liked it when the server never had chest shop plugins and ****, there was more roleplay to actually have in the world, smithies actually made **** through RP, they didn't just craft, shove in a chest and say "4 sale"

Chest plugin was removed because a player reported a huge exploit in it that was being abused. We have our own custom-made plugin almost ready for implementation, it just needs some final testing.

 

Apologies for any inconvenience that was caused. Tythus removed the plugin as soon as the exploit was reported as far as I know and I expected the GM's to make an announcement but something must have come up.

LoTC never puts dates on things because they never get them out in time.
