Should The Rebellion Continue?

Slade walks up to you as he journeys along the roads of Anthos. "Do you mind giving me yer opinion on if we should rebel against Oren and get rid of House Carrion?"

 

[basically guys I am putting this up to get a poll of how many people actually want a rebellion in Oren. For roleplay reasons, my character has been going around Anthos asking everyone their opinion. So as to get a more accurate count while not in-game, please answer the poll above. By the way, anyone can do the poll as my character is interested in everyone's opinion. If by the end I find more against the rebellion, then I will end it. Also, I just want to let you guys know that if we succeed, I have some really sweet ideas on how to improve the Kingdom (I hate Empires just so y'all know.)]

[i say that the rebellion should only continue if Gemmy can actually be more active with said rebellion. She never contacted the Nation leaders after making that warclaim, and it ended up being cancelled because she never made any responses.

 

I vote that if she can't organize something this weekend that will happen next weekend, then this rebellion has to stop because its leader, Gemmy, is being inactive in their position.]

Blatantly rebelling may look cool, but what are you actually trying to accomplish? 

 

You say you have "sweet plans", but what are they? If the rumours are anything to go by, you have been promising people their own Kingdoms left, right and centre. This in iteself seems quite contrary to the stated "I hate Empires".

 

 

When I returned to LotC, I was confronted with Cracker/Aiim.. the whole Carrion lot being in charge, reforming and rebuilding the scattered humans into a single Kingdom.

 

Now, I recognized from day 1 that some of these "carrions" (for want of a better term, there are a fair number of hangers-on) are impressively skilled at trolling, both benign and annoyingly so.

 

I ended up making my choice: To be inside "the system" and work with them, instead of against them in (yet another) rebellion.

 

 

In my opinion, rebelling right now serves little to no purpose, especially with the incredibly thinly-planned end result, if you even really have one.

 

 

Having said this, why don't you disprove everything I have said with a clear plan for how the entirety of the human Kingdom should work, in your eyes? Let's find out if you are all smoke.. or if there is some solidity behind all of this.]

[senda I respect you more than a lot of other people on this server and agree with you. The best way to improve something is to help with what is already being done about it. Here is the thing, yeah AiiM and Cracker got it united under one Emperor, but honestly anyone could've done that. You and Erlend are the ones actually /improving/ the Kingdom. For that you both have my utmost gratitude. 

 

If people have been saying that I am promising multiple Kingdoms they are lieing. I have not promised anyone a Kingdom at this point, even though multiple people have asked for one. I plan to get rid of the whole Empire title and go back to one High Kingdom. I actually do have a detailed plan of all that will happen. Now of course I am not going to explain it all in OOC on this thread, but trust me when I say this is not some whimsical, power hungry grab for the crown. It is a strong and true rebellion.]
