                                                     History:

William (Formerly Vekon, and now de Silvarois) was born in Deep's End, 1427 within the realms of Anthos, in the upper regions of Herendul, an area formerly known as  Teutonic Hanseti. He would constantly be shuffled between manors, before eventually being housed within the aptly named Badcastle. He frequently escaped to journey north, finding the warmth suffocating compared to the cruel chill of the infamous blizzards that plagued upper Herendul.

His father, Donovan Vekon, who was often referred to as Uncle Donny or even just Donny, was as abusive as any White Rose would be, if the rumors were true. Frequently beaten, some might have assumed his escapes to the north were to flee his torment. Perhaps he just liked the cold, but whenever he returned or was found out in the cold, the beatings worsened, leading to being waterboarded and burned with fire when fists proved insufficient.

He liked books, some of the servants would joke casually, fully aware that it was more than just love. The boy seemed destined for the life of a scholarly mage, so absorbed in his books he was, having had to be cajoled into stopping to eat. The only time he would stop, was when Donovan had visited, the servants hiding his books at their own risk, to keep from having them burned, as had happened once before. Teachers came and went, and seemed content to just woo the serving men and women, providing him with books to teach himself with. Not that he minded this, of course, seeing as he preferred the quiet of a candlelit book.

Perhaps his silence was because of his outlandish looks, which were black hair, and green eyes. Vekons had brown hair and blue eyes, they would murmer. It was revealed to him shortly before his father returned home what he was, a bastard. His childhood ended, and his father returned with the dissolution of the White Rose. Oh dark days those were, as William soon began suffering violent beatings into unconsciousness, frequently sporting broken bones as Donovan "Made a man out of him." He was frequently beaten with the Book of Horen, as the precursor to his religious indoctrinations. Perhaps Donny thought it a sick joke to "Beat the Creator into him." Or perhaps William had spoken heresy at some point without meaning to.

Soon the boy became a man on his father's beatings, becoming an extremist zealot, beating everyone his father sent to him to fight into unconsciousness, a bloodlust coming over him. He was taught that the greatest thing one could do, is to die in crusade against the Elves, particularly those of ashen skin. In a particularly cruel twist of irony, he fell head over heels for a servile dark elf maiden around his age, doting on her much like the knights in his books would their noble lady. But then, Donovan found out.. She was savagely beaten, and hung upon a Lorraine cross, which was then set aflame to purify her. William was forced to watch as his first love was murdered, before Donovan turned a weapon on him.

It was a fierce battle, but ultimately one William could not win, as he proceeded to have a flaying knife run over his body as punishment for his "heresy." He soon surrendered, his mind broken, becoming what his father had wanted all along, a perfect little zealot who gave no quarter to any he could deem a heretic.

He was given the opportunity to become a member of the Order of the Griffin, and accepted joyously, although his tenure would be short. It would appear that greater forces were at work, greater forces that turned everything he knew inside out. He was defending Shadowcastle, the lands of House Stafyr, against the Horen Coalition to retake the throne, joyously slaughtering those who would dispute House Carrion's rule as if they were but cattle. Night had fallen, and he was searching for fresh blood to soil his blade with, when a thin mist coalesced around him, not even parting as he swung his sword in panic. he found himself transfixed after a few moments, watching the mist coalesce into a blue light, before ultimately shining brightly as a golden stag, with what seemed to be all the stars in the skies within the antlers themselves. It's voice was deep, quaking the very earth and knocking him onto his posterior. "William Vekon.." The voice echoed audible to only him, "Go forth, and travel, seek answers, and you shall be forgiven.."

William soon quickly took off, searching out the meaning of the vision as a wandering pauper, seeking out the Clerical Order for guidance, only to be ignored and rebuffed quite arrogantly. What followed this escapes all understanding, for he would soon start wielding the Holy Light of Tahariae, despite conventional wisdom stating one must be connected by another Cleric prior. Perhaps he had been? Years would pass, as he learned how to use his giftings, being fascinated with how the mind reacted and reading accounts of Mental Magi, soon honing his own ability to treat the wounds of the mind. He would question what Tahariae's purposes were in all of this, but perhaps he needn't do so, for all was soon made known.

He found himself attending the wedding of Vectis Vekon II, and Penelope Winter rather unwillingly. Perhaps he knew some moment of lust had occurred between Vectis and another? Or perhaps he just wished to return to his artwork, it's really not known. He saw three of his family's most viciously bitter enemies, di Silvari. In attendance was Christion di Silvari, who did his upmost to suppress his lustful glances, being in the presence of an archbishop. More importantly, Lord Baron Gathius di Silvari, who looked as if he could destroy the oaken tables with his bare hands, was present. An impressively tall man with a luxurious beard that many a dwarf would've envied trailed down his chest, Gathius was not one to enjoy such festivities, and it was obvious he would rather be back in his barony, working his forge. Dwarfed in his shadow, however was an exceedingly timid female, no more than fifteen years of age. Her skin was as pale as the snow around them, her hair as silver as the refined metal itself, eyes as violet as a priceless amythyst. He found himself glancing repeatedly at her in shock, able to tell that there was indeed something special about her.

Not that it spared him when her loud shriek of abject terror rent the atmosphere, as Vectis II's squire touched her shoulder. The poor girl was reduced to tears, a pure spirit untouched by the corruption that pervades the souls of Anthos sang out to him. He soon asked around, seeking information upon the Auvergnian House, learning that Lucius di Silvari, who did not attend the wedding, was both Seward of Wallport, and an accomplished beast tamer, possessing animals of magnificent quality. He arranged a meeting, and purchased an animal for a rate that would have been seen as criminal anywhere else in Oren, leaving with the purebred Dalmatian disappointed, the timid girl nowhere to be seen.

But even so, the threads of fate would bring him back to the manor, finding himself entertained by the timid girl while the steward was busy examining the harbor. Encouraging her out of her shell, he soon found his ear talked off about the silliest things a little girl could love! After being told for the second time an Auvergnian epic about a knight who wielded the power to heal, he finally understood what Tahariae was willing for him to do, why the threads of fate had been spun so. He began making discreet inquiries, before finally revealing what he was to her, and connecting her to Tahariae. From this he would be in and out of wallport, reproachfully unaware of how the forces of impurity moved to take her life, until he went into a six week coma keeping her succumbing to her anorexia, and by extension, to the call of the Seven Skies. He would continue mentoring Charlotte, even after she was revealed to be a pureblooded mali'thill, and reclaimed by her elvish family.

Many trials and tribulations would accost him, leading to his disownment by Vectis Vekon II as a blood-traitor, marrying against the will of the man who saw him only as a pawn on a chessboard. Following the destruction of Wallport, he would seek refuge with Charlotte, or Lenia, as she insisted on being called, taking his pregnant wife with him, who would later give birth in the Fringe, before dying and presumed deceased, knowing all too well the horrors that await him and his children in the Fringe, only the strength of the Order could spare them now.. The pages turn, and history is written upon them before your very eyes...
