[Ooc] Strength: Kha Compared To Human

So after playing as a Kharajyr for a few days, I often wondered how strong a kharajyr's claws/bite would be compared to a human's. So I did some research and some estimating, and took averages of the bite and claw psi (pounds per square inch) of the four big cats that the four subraces are based off of. I halved this number and calculated the raw pounds of force for both a human and a kharajyr's punch/claw and bite psi. (Note: The human's pounds of force are for someone who is a trained martial artist, not just your average joe).

 

Kharajyr:

 

Claws: 2100 lbs of force

 

Bite: 647735 lbs of force

 

Human:

 

Punch: 2048 lbs of force

 

Bite: 1159 lbs of force

 

So, what we find here is that in plain old fisticuffs, a kha and a human are somewhat matched, but if a kha can land a bite, usually that would be the killing blow. I would note that these are for fully grown kha, not a cub or a kitten.
