When I was a player, before I was made ET and subsequently GM, I thought the world was boring. Nothing was happening except the constant threat of war, and the overall environment was very gloomy and depressing. I felt like the magic of the world was gone, and I was so bored. But when I joined the ET and became its Team Leader, I realised just /how much/ work has gone into creating events. Its a massive undertaking, and the only reason why people don't know about it is due to our lack of network and information.

 

So without further ado, I present to you a gallery of screenshots I requested my team members to compile, with a short summary for each.

 
The Great Gate Shuts

 
The snow fell down around Azgoth as a team of engineers plods up the great steps, making their way to the gate house.  Lord Onar is seen instructing his team in the gatehouse, commanding them to close the gates. Slowly, the great gate of Agoth begins to close and shut off the city from all, until something goes wrong. A creaking is heard and gate winds to a halt with a loud screech. This screech is echoed around the city by the calls of feral elves. Soon, Lord Onar is seen fleeing from Azgoth with his engineers.
 

 
Horns soon sound from Kal’Ithrun as the Dwarven Legion and Orcish fighters march on Azgoth.
 
On the steps of Azgoth stand three figures, Shallmandril Korthak’Kar, and his lieutenants. As they look on the great army of Dwarves, Orcs, and Humans of Barbek gathers in front of Azgoth, preparing themselves. As the army rises to the top of steps, the great horde of monsters and feral elves strike. After a long fight at the entrance, the main army continues to push while the engineers continue their work. Slowly, the gates begin to shut as the defenders retreat back from the growing hordes of enemies.
 
With a loud crash, the gates of Kal’Azgoth shut and seal the city off from outside forces.

Festival of a Winter's Kiss

 
Winter was here upon Anthos, and with Krugmas just a few days away as Zaint Glugolas would come into town to stay, the denizens of Anthos too wanted to celebrate with friends and family around. The Festival of a Winter's Kiss was the pre-holiday market, filled to the brim with trinkets and goodies, cakes and baubles. It was a project that I wanted the Monks to maintain, a weekly sort of thing for the monks and players to look forward to. Here are the screenshots from both weeks.
 
This event took place at Nations Crossing, or the Crossroads.

The Lost Queen

 
Little creatures that could only be described as fairies are being spotted around Malinor. They are all upset, though, by the loss of their queen! Her loss disables their magical powers, trapping them among the mortals. How will the citizens of Malinor react to them?
 
A heartwarming christmas tale on how the Grinch was foiled trying to ruin christmas for the fairies, this event took place in Malinor, with several ETs rping as fairies with the players.

A Christmas Wish List!

A event where the ET collected all your wishes during december. And if you showed up on the 23rd, we would give you your presents! Of course some couldn't attend which was a real shame, but we had many others who didn't post come and ask for a present anyways. 
 


Initially one line was too long and too slow...
 


Plenty of people cutting line. I was about to ban several trolls myself.
 

 
Finally made two lines!

And that concludes some of the events this month. I don't really feature small rp events, they are too numerous to document. These are some of the larger scaled events that come around. Also shoutout to various ET builders that helped decorate each nation's christmas tree! Without you guys and my 'heads', we would have a rather depressing Christmas.

I missed the Christmas event. But i got my present in another form. Also the human tree was best because the fine for touching it was 1 million mina.  :3
