Preface

And so it came to pass, that the winding roads and trailing pathways would lead to the never ending doom. Aegis, or in the Elvish tongue; Nor'thill. The land of purity, and everlasting peace. Of course, it was never peaceful - there was the constant Scourge of political corruption and upstart. The Undead plagued in physical form and in social form. I fought them. At the fronts of Malinor, and later the entire World, we fought against the darkness. But still we fight, and none can offer a logical reason that I have dictated as just. So it is up to me now to neglect such, and start anew once more.

This new world of Anthos has fared well against the evils of the North - this time taking the form of wraiths, and winged beasts. My kin, however, lacked the wisdom to see the fight through, and their homes fell and crumbled under the iron fist of the North. I sat and watched it happen, because it was a lesson. A lesson that still they must learn; they are nothing without their roots - their bonds to Malin and his ways. Military and Druidic prowess were something Malin was exceptional at. His commanding ability helped him fight against the corruption of Iblees in his first outbreak into Aegis. Yet they still neglected his teachings and forsaken his realm in abandonment. Not once did they attempt to retake it from the cold North-beasts.

The Orcs of Krugmar however fared absolute in sight of real danger. They faced all of the major problems that any race would throw war cries at, yet they were cunning and kept true to their ancestry - something I would never doubt to see in their kind. Their deserts remained desolate whilst their numbers dwindled at first. But life grew in their veins once more as new Orcish pride was developed. Gronkkston being the second after the Trog. I seen this, and I smiled at their success.

The Humans of... The Humans in general, have scattered. Their numbers are uncountable as they reside in complicated halls and thrones unlimited. How can one study such a race if all they do is change. Horen would be displeased to see his once mighty Humans rallying behind many banners instead of one. The Kingdom of Horen was mighty, never breaking off into an Empire. It was strong because it remained small, and distant. Unfortunately, I cannot blame the sons and daughters of Horen. Malin, Urguan and Krug's descendants failed to aid them at first. Snowy Fields, Alstion and Winterfell in the North all fell without the lifting of a sword. It is no surprise that the Humans have scattered into such remains. Only time shall tell whether they truly return to their rightful place of minority and security. A Kingdom of truth throughout.

The Dwarves of Urguan have flourished, though I know difficulty when I see it. My attempts at assessing their progress was thwarted by the simplicity of being unable to see them. Whether they were hiding in their caverns, or standing guard on their mighty castles, I could not see nor hear.
