"I wonder if there will be wine. I only drink wine with my meals. Halfings are more ale people.. Yet they are hosting an event, they surely couldn't forget the wine.."

 

He continues talking to himself about wine, holding the letter outwards as he wonders back inside his ramblings becoming more and more quiet until they are hardly audible.
