The Good Knave's Trinkets

He marched through the gate, sack in-hand, red cloak engulfing his figure. Armor concealed his person - as did his strange mask - and despite his odd visage, the Knave strolled with an open, orderly gait; he had come to the Conclave's capital with goodly intentions - the intentions of a merchant whose merchandise is legitimate and of high quality.

The Knave assumed himself upon the edge of the marble-contained tree that sits but twenty paces from the White City's main game. It was a point where his figure, if it did not already, would stand out amongst the crowds that may gather, or those that already may had. His voice was almost unnaturally low when it cracked through the air, sounding from his strange gnarled mask; hidden amber eyes glanced about as he made his call:

"Good kin of Malin! The Knave, after the days of hard work, has deemed this city, and it's denizens, a worthy place to share his art with; to offer it those who are willing to pay. In my possession, I hold three special items - a smith's hammer, who shapes metal with ease, but spills no blood. A ring, whose influence to it's wearer comes in the shape of mental counsel; a signet fit for kings without a trusted advisor. And at last, a magical goblet - able to form flame into the purest water, and liquid poison into aged wine!"

The Knave removes three items from his cup, and by his word, the three objects are nigh-exactly what he described -- a ring, a hammer, and a goblet.

"I offer to bid these three artifacts off to whoever that can afford them; each object's bid shall start at 800 Minas!"

The Knave falls silent; watching and waiting for those willing to bid whilst he gathers the three items into his merchant's satchel.

Daniella see's the goblet and the prices that it's going for and breaks down, sobbing.

She has a giant spider and hundreds of baby spiders all with venom she can milk from their fangs, and provide herself with free booze forever, but she can't afford the god damn cup!

John mumbles under his breath, discussing with himself before raising his voice, trying to gain Knaves attention with a polite smile. He waves at him shortly, four fingers outstreatched.
