The Fall Of Simeon

In the eerie mists of the morning, Simeon Carrion stands vigil on a balcony overlooking the Krelmstad. He descends, making his way through the donjon and out a secret passageway that leads to Brigand's Pass. If anyone caught sight of him, they would not see him again. In the hallski, he leaves a parcel for Orlik to find and do with what he pleases. Accompanied with the parcel is 15,000 minas worth of gold that was made during Simeon's stay. It reads:

Dear Orlik,

It it my hope that you can decipher this note and cast judgment based on it's content. It seems that in my weakness, and my melancholy, I let things slip away from me. I...am an addict. I have allowed my addiction to herb and drink get the better of me, and for that I am sorry. I was never fit to take the seat, but I did so in hopes that Kralta would flourish once more. I hope that you remain steadfast in your convictions, and that you take over what must be done.

As my only friend and confidant, I ask that you orchestrate my good-will on this land:

-Keep the strelts true to their cause. They are not fighters. Set them to work and allow them to see the fruits of their labor when not stolen. Use the money I leave for this purpose.

-Hold steadfast to the faith. I was never a religious man, but the strelts need guidance in order to remain civil. They are simple in nature.

-Avoid fighting when possible, but do not be afraid to fight. Kill those that would see Raev harmed.

-Smack Lyon. They destroyed my ancestor's home with frilly colors.

-Reason with the King to allow you to remain the sole beneficiary. I do not believe there is a man alive that can take the seat of the Krelmstad, though you must find a scribe to write your law. You cannot write for piss.

Speak of me for who I am; there is nothing profound to my person. Know that I was a man of pleasure, and do not hate me for it. Thank you for being my friend when others shunned me. Thank you for doing my work when I shirked it. Thank you for doing what you have done, when you have done it, without becoming bitter as I have. And thank you for the cactus green which I 'borrowed' from your home.

Sincerely,

Simeon Carrion

He takes to the road, then to the seas. He sets sail for a small island off the coast. Once there, he smokes much cactus green, and the sky becomes heavy with fumes.

OOC- I will be stepping down from anything political related for now on. I was bad at it before I came back to the server, and I should have realized that before making the decision. I get too excited over simple matters. I do not regret it; I got a lot done as Simeon Carrion. I do not believe Kralta would be standing if I had not made the decisions that I did. I am not leaving. I will be playing Zlatomir as a normal strelt. I think it is time I go back to my original desire on this server, which is to become a tavern owner. That is all I want to do right now.

Orlik picks up the parcel with both hands as he has his adviser read the letter, "Why cant Kingeh come and liv' ere?"

Hogvir wanders round the Krelm aimlessly, headed to places Simeon would have been, the corridors he would have walked through, "Great shame t'eh lose such a'h true Raev."
