Having a group of players who busted their ass off to get to the level they were is not lucky.

Not giving us compensation and pitting us at the same level of some noob with a 1 day Mage is only giving the mages a huge **** you, ten thousand middle fingers, and five thousand slaps to the faces, two thousand kicks in the balls. Not giving the mages compensation is going to cause a massive justified shitstorm from veteran mages

I've roleplayed water Evo since may 2012, I am not going to suddenly start over because of some OOC plugin and I will not put my character at the same level as a 1 day wizard and if I'm forced to, we will have a big problem.

 

 

And it's attitudes like this that make me stand by my point. I will be fighting for everyone to be starting off on the same page because some people in this community need to get over themselves and their "seniority." New players shouldn't have to deal with all the nonsensical elitism that goes on in LOTC. In the end the staff will decide what will happen and the fact is you will need to deal with that decision. Compensation? You are finally getting a plugin. One that Telanir has spent day and night making. I think that is "compensation" enough.

 

The only problem will be whatever you take from the situation. If you seriously are going to complain over the fact that Telanir actually listened to the community and made a plugin then reconsider what you/any other "veteran mage" with the same mindset are doing in this online community. 

 

I want to make it clear that I am not here to antagonize you. I am here to say this sense of "I deserve this or we deserve this" that you may have is not okay and it is venomous to this community. 

 

Locking this thread. Telanir stated that the plugin is still in beta. If you want to give feedback on the plugin itself (not who gets what because in the end the staff will decide) then I suggest you message Telanir as he previously asked.

EDIT: To add on

 

It is highly unlikely that the RP available after the plugin is released is only about the plugin. You will still be able to RP what you want but the staff will decide what to give people mechanically to start off whether that be everyone starting off with the basics or giving certain players advanced things. All of that has yet to be even talked about.
