Art: A Poem For Acaele

A poster is hung up on the wall in the Tomb. A sign hung above it 'Innovations in Art'.

The poster reads thusly:

Acaele

A falling star fell from your heart and landed in my eyes
I screamed aloud, as it tore through them, and now it's left me blind

The stars, the moon, they have all been blown out
You left me in the dark
No dawn, no day, I'm always in this twilight
In the shadow of your heart

In the dark, I can hear your heartbeat
I tried to find the sound
But then it stopped, and I was in the darkness,
So darkness I became

I took the stars from my eyes, and then I made a map
And knew that somehow I could find my way back
Then I heard your heart beating, you were in the darkness too
So I stayed in the darkness with you

Silvos stands before the poster, silently. Reading the poem over and over, his eyes fill with tears. His body appears frozen, his lower lip quivers. The tears slowly roll down his cheeks, and into his goatee, drenching it in the salty liquid. The drops slowly descend down, only to then fall to the cold floor of the room. He whispers.

"Ahern ito nae'leh, Acaele, for making Lelien happy for all these years... But for marrying the only child I ever saw as a daughter and then leaving her in pain... I can never forgive you."

Sniffing, he turns around and slowly moves back into his office, to then lock the door. A soft cry can be heard inside.
