Dry Air Chokes Out Happiness

It had been a great week in the Shire, everyone had been enjoying themselves, as some burrow's had been vacated and their ale been distributed to the various households.

But a dry air had swept across the lands, following a great rain storm. Pigs and cows stopped dead in their tracks, chickens began to drink their own eggs! Ponies where brought inside the cool burrows where they were given the emergency ale. Halflings tried to enjoy themselves in the lake water, but dead fish and squids began to float to the surface. Some halflings, including a small boy named Fumble, believed it was a curse by Knox... the halflings hadn't held a festival in his honor since the move from Len! new%20027.JPG

On top of the famine, the normally lazy and rested hobbits became weary and bleak, their already dry bodies where being exhausted beyond natural hobbit use, they had been busy defending against biggun invaders!

Who would come to the halflings aid with fresh water and fresh food? Would they be left to fend for themselves in a no longer joyful Shire?

A large shipment of food and fresh water is brought in by the well supplied Alexander Valois, a small crate full of wines and cakes sent has a small note on it.

"Alexander Valois will always be a friend of the Shire."
