The wind of the north howled, whistling past the fortresses of the Scourge and their allies. If one were to look at the entrance to this desolate wasteland, they would spot a creature. A Harbinger, no less. But this one was different. His armor was lined with a golden hue, its helmet spiked and chestpiece black as the night in which it thrived. Arms crossed, he watched over the wind-whipped landscape, noting the corruption as it painstakingly, inch by inch, made its way into the lands of the mortals.

But... while his body was silent, his mind was not. One looking upon it would find terrible, terrible thoughts indeed. This... thing, it was a work of evil.

He stared, watching as the lesser Harbingers ran out, some in armor, others in their mist-like forms. Among them were scattered cultists, those who believed in His power. They were all under Him, the great and dark ruler of the North, Setherien. He? Well, he was just a simple servant, enacting his will.

And how glorious it was. The advancing corruption... the raw power... the chaos... it was different. There was an amazing order to chaos, if one were to look hard enough. Something powerful, unseen. When everything was tainted, chaotic, it was all alike. And it was beautiful.

Beauty in the chaos. Something the mortals had yet to see.

"And we shall bring it to them, my brothers... we shall show them His power... that His way is the right way..." the strange Harbinger said, his tone soothing and melodic. He walked down from the pillar, and with a slow, careful stride, he set off into the lands of the mortals. His quest... his crusade, had begun. The mortal forces of this world were in for a new surprise, a new enemy to fight. Who would stand up to him? Would they defeat him? Or would the duty to His will prevail? Only time would tell.

"I will enact his will. So I swear... for I am the Keeper. The Lord of the Harbingers."

"I am Vak'thuul."

OOC Notes!

Alrighty, guys! Hello there! I'm Crayfishchris, and I'm just introducing the character Vak'thuul to the mix of Harbingers. We're planning a lot for this next stage in the antagonist. This won't be a complete redo, just a few slight changes and some neat plans for what we're going to do from this point on. Among these are:

  • More one-on-one with the antags
  • Less PvP/PvE, more RP with the folks around us.
  • Strategic fighting for areas, no longer just attacking areas at random.
  • We won't be killing as much.
  • More cult recruitment.
  • Engaging and long-term events with towns.

If you want to set anything up or just put in your suggestions on how the antagonist force in Anthos should work, send me a PM :D. Alrighty, happy RPing, folks!

Amealeo stood, watching the darkness roll across the valley from his perch above, his hands gripping the stoney mountains so as to not lose his position. No noise came from him as he watched the forces advancing southward. Cultists... harbingers... he showed pity towards. His brothers walked in those plates of armor and drifted on those northern winds. The Lance was not satisfied, sulking away and moving off.

((Just introducing a new character... in RP, he was always there. If you read the spoiler at the bottom, you'll see the other purpose of this post~))
