The source, was nothing more than the very thing every such mortal of this age had to have encountered at least once. The Carnolithisus. The hulking mass of black stone and blood shards slowly rolled its way up and across the landscape, traversing between mountains in the north at a snail’s pace south, heading slowly but surely... somewhere. Atop the tower, three figures stood. One of gold, one of blue... and one of a very nondescript grey. Vak’thuul at the head of the tower, it seemed to have its arms spread, tendrils of blood red energy connecting the being with the tower, as the other two stood sentinel besides it. “You’re positive this will work?” The grey figure said in a slow, calculated utterance. “Undoubtedly,” the response came, a low cackle thereafter, “We’ll be rid of that bumbling ascended once and for all... all in time.” it vowed, casting its gaze out towards the horizon, the back shadow of another large, floating tower just visible over the rolling landscape. “After this.
