If you can't agree, PVP is default. Before commencing a PVP fight, you must roleplay the leading up to it, and you must also make the other player aware before you attack - e.g. an emote. Taylor 504 Share Posted March 15, 2014 Well, good to know that you can't escape to the Cloud Temple in combat even though it's an area where you can't hurt players RP'ly or with MC mechanics. Still have no idea how this was 'abuse of the Cloud Temple' but if that's somehow true then people need to get word and someone needs to make a long detailed thread about all the 'rules' of LoTC that no one knows about until they're actually 'broke'. Almost like LoTC players are making up their own rules now a days and some GM's decide that it makes sense, so they hand out a ban without really looking into it... Although at the end of the day it's pretty common sense what is and isn't bannable. Most bannable actions that are 'unwritten' actually come under the umbrella of either metagaming, powergaming or being a butt. Don't do those three things and you will be fine. ( Running into a place where you cannot be killed because of mechanics is considered power-gaming. ) Consistently depriving another player (or players) of their fun for your own personal gain or amusement, even after receiving appropriate warnings, is punishable if deemed necessary by the moderation teams. This may also be considered harassment. Essentially, don't be a troublesome player that only plays to annoy others or be a nuisance. ( Walking into a town with a pre-loaded crossbow and shooting everyone with one-emote reloads is depriving people of their fun. ) For most unwritten rules, just use common sense along with the third rule I have listed. Running into the zone is just following lore and logic any character would use ; one that would keep them alive. Forum rules, TS rules, war rules and rules on lore are also going to be renovated and reposted over the next day or so.
