Alright, so if you have any idea what these games are, and are involved in these games, you know the huge debates about if Skyrim, Morrowind, or Oblivion was better (despite Daggerfell being the best, duh) and I'm here to see what you think! Whatever one wins goes on to fight Morrowind, and then Arena, and then Daggerfell!

Cast your ballots now! Feel free to unleash hell upon each other!

Hard to decide. . .I just like a lot of things about Oblivion better than Skyrim, but same with Skyrim than Oblivion. Buuut I'll take Oblivion. More interesting quests, better spell system, enemies actually level with you, etc.

But still.

While Skyrim did have a smoother combat system and better graphics, Oblivion had better everything else. The quests were more diverse. The guilds were longer, more immersive, and they made far more sense (you didn't become a super l33t member of the inner circle after the first quest COUGH COUGH COMPANIONS COUGH COUGH.) They had a spellmaking system, a better alchemy system, the Imperial City Watch were absolutely glorious in every way, and there was actually some challenge, no matter how far into the game you were.

Skyrim was fun to wander around in but the combat was so boring and the skill system was horribly broken and unexciting - Sneak skills literally broke the game difficulty with the 'instant infinite cloaking and backstabs for 30000000x damage'.

Oblivion's story was more entertaining, but I did like that Soul Cairn thing in Skyrim, that was pretty amazing.

I have been playing Oblivion a lot recently and I think it is better with the character leveling. With Classes and the stats like Luck and personality.

May be goofy-looking when I look back, but damn fighting Minotaurs was the shyte.

Oblivion +1

That being said, Skyrim had the elaborate Babylonian-esque Dwemer featured more.

Skyrim. Though Oblivion had most things better, Skyrim just makes you feel so damn badass, and it's a really beautiful game <3

Oblivion. Yeah, the graphics weren't the best, neither was the AI's pathfinding ("I saw a mudcrab the other day." *walks into a wall*). But as others have said, the quests were more in depth, as were the guilds, and, let's all be honest.... Who hasn't wanted to be a Medieval Doomguy?
