The Defeat Of Balthar's Host

Warscore @ 100% in Favor of Kingdom of Urguan

After seven elven hours of bitter civil dwarven conflict; Wulfgar's nation stands tall, clown-less. All of Balthar's ploys failed in the powers of the God(-Moded) King Wulfgar and by dusk's stroke, Balthar's host of mercenaries are crushed in futility. Wounded thralls and dregs scurry from Balthar's ranks as his cause is clearly lost; even the very fabric of Anthos shakes and crashes in the last elven hour to Balthar's dismay. Lacking power of any sky-god, Balthar curses his fortune. He pens Wulfgar a letter,

"Grandnephew Wulfgar,

I fought only to restore righteous dwarven society; do not hold this against me. If not by blood nor blade, I only ask with tail between my leg, emasculated from our conflict, that you consider one to dub me the righteous title of Head Clown of Urguan. My assassins dead, my soldiers scattered, I plea with my grandnephew to deliver my rightful title. If you chose to deny me of it, so be it; you have fairly won this War of Clowns and as loser it is my duty to surrender.

Love,

Balthar Blackaxe"

Marching home, Balthar takes one last look at Anthos, hoping to return to a state where he is dubbed true Head Clown.

(OOC: My thanks to the dwarves for being such good sports OOC about it and not banning anyone aside from that 1 hacker! Hope that we kept you on your toes during 1st day of 3.5. Though if there is a next time (if being a key word considering how chaotic it was) let's not godmode!)

Grand King Wulfgar takes his own raven feathered quill from off of his table, dipping it into a small pot of ink. He proceeds to write a series of bold letters upon a clean parchment.

"Balthar the Mad,

You have cast aside the ways of our kin, in favour of desires so petty and greed filled that Khorvad himself would banish you from his unholy halls. Never shall you be honoured with the name 'Blackaxe' again. It does indeed bring me great shame to call you my grandfather's brother. Should you intend to set foot into the lands of the Grand Kingdom of Urguan, you shall be massacred on sight, your rotting corpse dismembered and sent to the four corners of Anthos. You will find this to be your last and only warning.

- Wulfgar."
