aron. 427 Share Posted March 30, 2014 I do not like that the Event team can name items. Many event team members seem like they would abuse that for their clan/faction they are apart of. I will not name who I think that is because that infringes on people's lives but I will say I think only gms should have that power when it comes to things like that. I am going to avoid going off on you in a 1 paragraph speech on why everything you just said is unfounded, and utterly ignorant.. Just know that there is a reason those people are trusted with their position (This coming from an ex-ET, I should add), and that giving an item a description isn't equivalent to what you hype it to be. I more than often play several characters at once, swapping between two to four names, in a few minutes. To bring good and proper roleplay when for example there would be no waitress. From personal experience weather it be roleplaying as a child or roleplaying with one, the RP can get boring after the first few hours to a few days. Not much can happen. You are very limited in what you can do and heavily dependent on others. Is that the worse part about it? Not really, just that the roleplay indeed gets boring. Heck, even at age ten, you are limited, depending how you got about things. Ages 1-10 are not needed for any real development of character since by ten(barely) you might actual start a good development. By ages fifteen or sixteen, that is when things can start moving much faster. Not only can you start wield weapons more properly, you can begin some magic if you wish. Because the only thing people should ever RP ever is combat. If you can't wield a sword you are not a person. Child RP should be disallowed because I find it boring and don't want to do it, so others should agree with me and also not want to do it. Having children does nothing to increase the immersiveness or diversity of RP, as there are no children in the world, only adults. What command do I use now? /card and /char work. I've been using those for months actually. Never used /me for cards. You can also get cards by clicking on someone's name in RP chat. Dohvi 622 Share Posted March 30, 2014 Ever since this update, I've started getting errors. Almost every time I type /t [Player's MCname] it says "ERROR: Player not found." You know you can always delete a persona, use that empty slot, and just re-add the old persona when you're done with the replacement? You still have unlimited character cards, the ones in your menu are basically just quick-swap. Because the only thing people should ever RP ever is combat. E__V__O 2000 Share Posted March 30, 2014 Shatter, it is not 'fixed' in a sense, it is gaining to a better future- we need these all for the up-coming 4.0, which will be soon- with the old system it was simply that it wouldn't of been able to even transfer. Shift + click the persona you want to "permakill" in your menu, the slot becomes empty. Replace that slot with the new character you want to play, create a new persona in the now empty slot. When you are done with your new persona, shift + click it and replace it with your old one. It's basically the same as /removecard and /createcard. Don't make people work around the plugin to do something that's allowed on the server. Child RP isn't banned. It's very common to see child RPers start at about 5 years old.
