They're actually in the uploaded plugin, but I disabled them because I think I gave the players plenty to complain about for one weekend :D

Really? Cooldown to changing names? What's the reason behind that change?!
People NEED to change their names constantly for better emoting. Change it back already.

 

By the way. Do you see all those comments made by people who are mad because of this patch, including myself? I reckon, next time, you should ask the players before making this kind of changes to the mechanics. It would keep those mad from going mad, and avoid this complaint fest.

Or you could ask yourself "What was the staff's intentions?" because I assure you there is a bigger picture. From my experience from being on staff whenever they post something asking for feedback it's always heavily split. People are going to complain no matter what. I suggest adjusting and just being happy with what you are given. I know I am. I am just thankful I have a place to RP.

Once I got over the initial bit of confusion I really liked this update despite what everyone else seems to think. It has a few bugs but overall I think its a really a good job.

I'm not sure if this has already been addressed, but i'd really like to know why exactly we've bumped up the character minimum age limit from 2 to 10 on character cards? Seems absolutely useless, I mean, how does the server benefit from restricting people access to playing children? It's an important roleplay niche that many enjoy, I feel like this change is just gonna generate a lot of anger without proper reasoning behind it. Also, same question on name changing cooldowns. Why? Where's the benefit in such a restriction? I personally use name changing frequently, especially during player-run events, it's very useful and i'd like to see it returned.

 

As for the other changes... I'll just wait and see how they turn out before I start complaining~ ❤

I'm going to briefly address some stuff been said/anything I feel about the plugin.

 

1)As I seen a lot in this thread, people dislike the fact they can't be under ten years old. From personal experience weather it be roleplaying as a child or roleplaying with one, the RP can get boring after the first few hours to a few days. Not much can happen. You are very limited in what you can do and heavily dependent on others. Is that the worse part about it? Not really, just that the roleplay indeed gets boring. Heck, even at age ten, you are limited, depending how you got about things. Ages 1-10 are not needed for any real development of character since by ten(barely) you might actual start a good development. By ages fifteen or sixteen, that is when things can start moving much faster. Not only can you start wield weapons more properly, you can begin some magic if you wish.

 

2)Soulstones- A quick short opinion. I prefer walking every where for the most part. IF I feel I'm too far from a place, I'll go to spawn and begin the walk from there. 

 

3)Character Cards- Well, I feel as if you really need only TWO characters at most. Something to switch between if you feel as if there is no roleplay with one character, I'm sure you can find rp on another. For characters are never limited to a certain crowd. I mean seriously you lazy bums, go and take a walk you might stumble into a town you never been to before that are a good chunk of rp in it. Or even the roads, I find that the people who stop to talk with you can bring some fun, interesting RP.

 

4)Cooldown time on name changes- Not needed. As stated before by allowing quick name changes you can make better emotes.

 

5)Knockout- I enjoy it for the most part. Not many complaints. If it isn't too laggy or whatever I feel as if it should be combined with the player skull system. :)

are you seriously saying that a bedrock vip perk has 24 hour cooldown to name an item when they pay that giant amount of cash

 

are you kidding me

that's the most (insert the term that gets you banned for 3 months here) thing i've heard all month

 

I don't really believe the updates actually provided a benefit to anybody.
